In reply to: [Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress] Post Type Base SlugsThe last correspondence I received on the 22nd of August was “that the dev team will try to have this fixed in 2 weeks, in update 2.6.1”
This means that the issue has still not been resolved

In reply to: [Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress] Post Type Base SlugsHey fellow forum members,
I hope you’re all doing well. I’m here to vent my frustration and seek some assistance regarding an issue I’ve been facing with TranslatePress. I’ve reached out to their support team regarding the “Post Type Base Slugs” setting, but unfortunately, I haven’t received any response from them yet. It’s been quite some time, and I’m getting worried about the lack of support.
The problem is, I’ve been trying to configure this setting for my website, but I couldn’t find any detailed documentation on how to use it effectively. The lack of information in TranslatePress’s official documentation led me to contact their support team for clarification. Unfortunately, it’s been weeks, and I haven’t received a single response from them.
Has anyone else encountered this issue or managed to get “Post Type Base Slugs” working correctly with TranslatePress? If so, could you kindly share your insights and experiences with the setting? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or tips you might have.
Also, if any of you have a better understanding of what this setting is precisely meant to do, please enlighten me. I want to ensure I’m using it correctly and that it serves its purpose on my website.
Overall, I’m quite disappointed with the lack of support from TranslatePress, especially when dealing with what seems to be a critical feature for multilingual websites. As users, we depend on prompt and helpful assistance from the developers, and the silence is making it challenging for me to make progress.
Thank you in advance for any help or information you can provide regarding “Post Type Base Slugs” and your experiences with TranslatePress support. Let’s hope someone from their team sees this post and reaches out to resolve the issue promptly.

In reply to: [Translate Multilingual sites - TranslatePress] Post Type Base SlugsThank you for the reply, but maybe I am misunderstanding the post type base slugs. What is the function of this setting?
Hi there,
After continuous emails to the support team, I am pleased to report that the solution does indeed work. However, I remain disappointed with the unfortunate loss of customers during the implementation process, which lasted for 6 days. Despite my persistent efforts to seek support and resolve any issues, all customers faced the same issue in that they could not load their businesses and subsequently requested refunds. It is important to acknowledge that while the solution itself is effective, the delay and resulting customer dissatisfaction must be addressed promptly to ensure a positive experience for all involved.
Hi all,
I wanted to ask if anyone here has experience using a coupon system with directorist that actually works. Unfortunately, the directorist coupon extension has been quite problematic for my website. It has had a negative impact, specifically preventing customers from adding a listing after purchasing a plan. As a result, my website has been down for the past five days, and I haven’t found a solution yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hi there,
Thank you for the response, however the developers are still working on the coupon issue as per their last email. I am hoping that this is going to be resolved soon as it is effecting my business negatively.
Best regards

Hi there,
This is created by the “The Events Calendar” plugin when an event is recuring. As and example if the event was called “Test” and it recured once a month then the date would get added to the URL eg test/2023-04-30 and then test/2023-05-30, test/2023-06-30 and so on
Hi Anca
The URL that is giving the 404 error which is translating from English to Portuguese is https://portugaldirectory.pt/pt/mercado/handicraft-fair-last-sunday/2023-04-30/
The English version URL is https://portugaldirectory.pt/market/handicraft-fair-last-sunday/2023-04-30/
The plugin being used is The Events Calendar. On a single event, the translation works, but when the event is recurring it does not translate. The recurring event has the date in the URL, so removing the date from the Portuguese translation works. https://portugaldirectory.pt/pt/mercado/handicraft-fair-last-sunday/
The problem is that I have 405 recuring events in the calendar.
Thanks for all the help.
Kind regards
Clint

Hi there,
I still have the same result with the settings you suggested.
If the Pop-Up form is closed on the Home page, it disappears. However, upon returning to the Home page from any other page, the Pop-Up form appears again.
If a user subscribes to the Pop-Up form, it disappears. However, upon returning to the Home page from any other page, the Pop-Up form appears again. (see image)Hi there, the theme does not have a caching option. The caching is from the host, rocket.net
