I understand I could contact the author but of course the author would fix it for me without me learning a thing.

I own an IT Firm so I have to learn to solve these kinds of problems.

specially seeing how different my case is from the ones I have found online.

I love a good challenge, and this is proving to be a heck of a challenge for me lol.

the name of the theme is extranews, I got it on Theme Forest.

It was working fine and out of nowhere this started happening so I guess I was hacked.

im guessing the theme is calling a script elsewhere sort of like the fake jquery sites.

I can see what the script is doing in the event listener but I cant find the code to remove it.
