I still have this problem! The only way I can log in is if I delete the plugin first using FTP. I must then reinstall it immediately because people are always trying to get in.

The Debug info box contains this:

HTTP_X_MIDDLETON_IP = IP0
HTTP_X_REAL_IP = IP0
REMOTE_ADDR = IP1

I have reinstalled the Limit Login Attempts Reloaded plugin, as it’s the most popular one, but I am still getting locked out. The only way I can log in is if I delete the plugin using FTP. After I log back in, I always reinstall the plugin because I need the security.

Why do none of these limit login attempt plugins work on my site? I always see:

“ERROR: Too many failed login attempts. Please try again in # hours.”

Can anyone help, please?

I have installed a different plugin that limits login attempts, and I am seeing the same problem! I am constantly being locked out. All I see every time I try to log in is:

“ERROR: Too many failed login attempts. Please try again in 24 hours.”

Can anyone tell me what’s going on, please?

PayPal technical support still haven’t got back to me, which is absurd!

Anyway, the mobile page seems to be loading more quickly now for some reason.

I contacted PayPal technical support. I’m awaiting their reply. Gonna find out if it’s the plugin or something else. Shall post back soon.

Please help me to resolve this issue! There’s nothing wrong with my PayPal account, and I doubt that there’s anything wrong with PayPal’s mobile site.

Could the problem have anything to do with the way the plugin “talks” to PayPal’s mobile site?

Mra13, did you try my button using a mobile phone? Are you saying that your button works perfectly on a mobile phone?

No, I do not have a cache plugin. Why would it be a cache issue when it’s the PayPal mobile site and not my own site that’s taking too long to open?

No, my site loads fine on my phone and PC. What I’m saying is that when I access my site on my phone and click the Donate button, I have to wait and wait and wait for the PayPal page to open. When I access my site on my PC and click the Donate button, there’s no problem. The PayPal page opens immediately.

I just tried the Donate button on two other phones. It’s *extremely* slow on all phones, Android and iOS!

My site is https://weighttraining.guide. The Donate button is in the sidebar.

Have you installed this plugin? Is your Donate button slow on your phone, too?
