In reply to: [Google for WooCommerce] “gla_” a prefix before the ID PRODUCTThis is absurdly simple to fix. Create a config field for the prefix and set the default to “gla_” for upgrades and “” for new installations.
The module would function exactly as it does now for existing installs, UNLESS the user needed different functionality.

In reply to: [Super Page Cache] WP Rocket and Jetpack AcceleratorYou said, “I would rather recommend using Cloudflare Pro. If you enable Jetpack Accelarator for your images, then your images will be loaded from a totally different hostname like i0.wp.com and the requests won’t even go via Cloudflare. WIth Cloudflare Pro you get access to Cloudflare Polish which will give unlimited image optimization and also WebP support.”
This is the change I have just made, but I am second guessing it. The problem is that for a low volume site like mine, CF cache hits are very low (~30%). But WordPress/JetPack/Automatic cache hits are cached indefinitely.
Thoughts?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Invalid schema on Merchant listing reportI forgot to come back and update this thread. As @maybellyne said the patch (plus clearing cache) did resolve the issue.
@djwilko12 – I’m not 100% certain, but don’t believe this schema is applied unless you have the Yoast WooCommerce SEO plugin installed.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Invalid items Google search consoleUpdate: Short version, v15.2 resolves the issue.
Long version: I emailed Yoast support and they replied:
“The issue experienced is due to cache. Google is still analysing the cached version of the page. Can you please clear plugin cache or server cache and then check to see if this has been resolved?
I checked the nocache version of your page, and everything is fine. See this link: {link removed}”
She was correct.
1. I was not aware that adding ?nocache was an option, and it works great. That you Adetola!
2. I’m not sure what happened, because I cleared cache twice and even deactivated WProcket plugin completely after the upgrade. I repeated it this morning, and was successful.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Invalid items Google search console@wooguy, you can check instantly at the Rich Results Test:
https://search.google.com/test/rich-results@maybellyne – 15.2 is not yet available in the plug in catalog for download, it has to be manually installed. That may be slowing adoption. That said, 15.2 does not resolve the issue.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Invalid schema on Merchant listing reportThis is definitely a Yoast issue. I saw a few other comments about this (on other SEO plugin pages) that were resolved by a patch from the creator. As a test, I deleted all Yoast products and the problem (priceSpecification and brand) vanished.
I now have only non-critical error, which is:
No global identifier provided (e.g., gtin, brand) (optional)If course, this also screws up listings.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Invalid schema on Merchant listing reportI removed the whole section it at lines 230, 252, 470, and 504 without any improvement. When validating in search console, it still fails. Inside the page I still see:
"priceSpecification":{"@type":"PriceSpecification","valueAddedTaxIncluded":false}}
In the resulting pages.
The script tags surrounding it are as follows:
<script type="application/ld+json" class="yoast-schema-graph yoast-schema-graph--woo yoast-schema-graph--footer">
This leads me to believe that YOAST is generating this, not woocommerce.
I am also getting Invalid object type for field “brand”

My mistake. I was Seeing AdSense and thinking Google Ads. I don’t in fact have an adsense account.
