In reply to: [Simple Twitter Tweets] Incorrect timestampWe haven’t encountered out of sequence tweets with time stamps, and from the code i’m not sure how that is possible? Out side of that, the tweets when not synced to real time are being drawn from the cache on your WP install and possibly from your cached pages of your site too (if using Total Cache or Super Cache etc.)

In reply to: [Simple Twitter Tweets] Customize the lookErrr, maybe try again and just use specificity if your themes unordered list code is overwriting your changes. As you CAN style anything.

In reply to: [Simple Twitter Tweets] Can't hide @ replies…They are @ mentions, not replies to the specified Twitter account.

In reply to: [Simple Twitter Tweets] Incorrect timestampCan you conform you site is connecting to the Twitter API. We have not experienced any issues of tweets in reverse time or added hours?

In reply to: [Simple Twitter Tweets] Can't hide @ replies…Sorry for the trouble.
Can you conform that it is @replies to you that are still visible when the option is selected and not at mentions to others? As these are two separate things.

In reply to: [Simple Twitter Tweets] Simple Twitter Tweets… did it work with WP 4.1?Hi Marco,
Yes it works perfectly with 4.1 we have had no issues, just haven’t got around to changing the reference in the plugin yet – been mad busy.
We are unaware of any conflicts with any other plugins, so you should be fine there too.
Give it a go. All the best with your new site and enjoy.

In reply to: [Simple Twitter Tweets] Cannot redeclare twitter_time_diff()Sorry to hear that. I thought we had handled exceptions for twitter time difference.
I will look over the codebase when I get a free moment – bit slammed at present and we had some HD failures so we’re on hand rebuilding systems ??
Please try clearing out all your caches, WP, plugin, browser and see if that helps. If was running and working seems like their maybe a conflict elsewhere. If so we would need more help to diagnose. What was recently added, updated or changed in the system etc.

In reply to: [Simple Twitter Tweets] Customize the lookHiya,
Thanks.
You can yes. You will need to add the styles to your theme/child theme CSS.
Just hook into the Unordered List (UL) with a class of tweets e.g. ul.tweets if you need specificity or just .tweets will do then reference you list items (li)
Last tweet and follow button – simply add some space (margin-bottom) to your .tweets UL as the Follow button is embedded underneath.
Have a good day

In reply to: [Simple Twitter Tweets] Why is the feed not updating?Rate limiting is evaluated at it happens – shared services wise it would be first come first served.
But that may not be your issue. Have you checked – if you have caching enabled, are running a caching plugin; what are your settings?
These are aspects that are out of our control unfortunately. We have many sites and 1000s of downloads running the plugin without issue.
Sorry we can’t be of greater assistance at this time. But without intimate knowledge of your setup and/or an error we have nothing to go on.
Your developers and/or your hosting provider may be able to resolve this for you or point you in the right direction.
All the best

In reply to: [Simple Twitter Tweets] Why is the feed not updating? As you stated it worked.
Please consider if you are on shared hosting the allowance provided by Twitter for the API is limited. Hence of other sites on your IP range have accessed the IP this could be over subscribed.
Also check your cache, WP cache and settings?

Sounds like your on the right track.
Check with your server host. Over crowded servers can be an issue with rate limiting from Twitter.
Check your caches, server, PHP, WP, ISP – if you’re page is cached pre successful communication with Twitter, oops.
