P.S.:
The problem affects all filetypes excepting pics like gif, png, jpg.

The same problem still occurs in WP 2.05 (I’m using the 2.05 DE-Edition from wordpress.de, hope their 2.05 is based on the same 2.05 as available for download from www.remarpro.com).

I fixed it as mentioned at trac (link above), but the buggy line number in 2.05 is #268 instead of line #251 in v.2.02

Will the problem generally be fixed in the next build?

You’re right, it works correctly with images.
But it does not work with i.e. uploaded PDF-files.

I double checked it.

Any ideas?

I’m having the same problem using WP 2.02 – german version.

If I load up a PDF file and send it to the post/editor, an incorrect link is generated like “www.domain.xy/filename.pdf”
(the file has been uploaded correctly as I checked via FTP)

If I drag the file with Firefox to the post/editor, another incorrect link is generated like “www.domain.xy/wp-content/uploads/YYYY/MM/filename.pdf”

Please help.
