In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Upcoming EventsThanks – I have not made any overrides to templates, obviously that’s why I don’t hat folder in my theme. However, my calendar widget is still not working. Do I need to create that folder an add the file now?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Upcoming EventsI do not have a tribe-events folder within my theme. There is a widgets folder within my-theme/includes, but no tribe-events. In fact, I don’t see any reference to tribe-events on my server except within my plugin folder.
Do I need to create that that folder within my theme and upload a copy of the list-widget.php from the events calendar? There will be no other files within that folder, will that one file be sufficient?
Thanks for you help!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Upcoming EventsHello,
I see this thread is marked as resolved, directed to a new thread. However, Ginebiene’s problem does not seem the same as mine and a few others on this list.
My plugin – since the most recent update – does not display upcoming events in the widget. Everything is set up properly and was working previously. None of the suggestions above work for me.
Here is our site:
https://www.governormifflinsd.org
You’ll see several blank widget areas listing Upcoming Events that no longer display.
Could you please check into this for me and provide a fix?
Thank you, Pam

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Upcoming EventsHello,
I have the same problem. Since the latest update, I no longer have any events displaying in widget areas.
I possibly have the same problem that RutjeT discovered – but am not sure where to find or how to make the change to the list-widget.php within my theme.
In the meantime, all event areas are blank. Can you please advise how to fix this?
Here’s my website: https://www.governormifflinsd.org Nothing in the setup of widgets has changed, but you’ll see several pages with blank “upcoming events”.
ALSO – we can no longer add recurring events. We can enter the info but are then directed to a blank page instead of the Dashboard, and only the initial event saves.
Thanks for your help! Pam
Thanks! Pam

In reply to: visual editorHello Mark and thanks for the reply.
I’ve tried disabling plugins and nothing seems to help. I’m sure that the problem is related to the template I have purchased (from Themeforest) and I have sent a support question to it’s developer also – but have not received a reply as of yet.
I do not want to switch templates at this point since the design has been approved by my client (before discovering this glitch).
I’ve also noticed that within the visual editor display, there is absolutely no padding within the content area. Obviously a related problem, and there are probably a few more that I just haven’t discovered yet.
Any ideas? Can you think of any way I can impact the bullet display, making it a normal WYSIWYG function in the visual editor?
Thanks again

In reply to: [3.5 RC1]Function declares twiceI am having the same exact problem after an upgrade to 3.5. I do see the same function in user.php (line 205) and in deprecated (line 3323).
However, I cannot seam to correct the problem with your instructions. I do not follow what you mean by re-installing the user.php file. Do I need a clean version of user.php, and if so, where can I get to that?
Thanks so much for your help. I have a very unhappy client and hope to resolve this asap.
