In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Good and helpful support, as for the plugin…Hey @roxanadev !
Thanks so much for taking the time to write this review and share your feedback with us!
As you’ve mentioned, Facebook for WooCommerce continues to develop, so we really appreciate knowing what you think it’s missing from the plugin. I’ve taken a note and will share it with our product team to review! ??
In the meantime, our plugin will use the currency set in your WooCommerce store, so don’t hesitate to reach out to the support forum if you have more questions how this works. Still, thank you very much for bringing this up to our attention.
Don’t hesitate to let us know if there’s anything else we can help you!

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] duplicated orderHey @beware ,
Thank you very much for reaching out to us and apologies for the delayed response!
Happy to further investigate this with you.As a first step, would it be possible to let me know a bit more regarding the duplicated orders? The plugin has been designed to sync your products to a catalog in your Facebook Shop, so it shouldn’t have impacted the orders directly.
Looking forward to your response.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Attributes/Variations removed when changing stockHey @sqdigital ,
Thank you very much for reaching out to us and apologies for our delayed response. Happy to further investigate this with you.
As a first step, would it be possible to share more information with me regarding replicating this behavior? Did you proceed with conflict testing that allowed you to confirm that this issue persists when WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce are the only plugins enabled?
Looking forward to your response!

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Refun IssuesHey @staceycampbell ,
Thank you very much for reaching out to us and apologies for our delayed response!
This was an error that was caused in one of the latest versions of our plugin, however, version 2.1.3 was deployed soon after that was aimed to resolve this issue. Would it be possible to let me know if after updating, the issue persisted on your end?
Looking forward to your response.

I’m happy to help you further investigate this error and find out on how you can disable the previously installed Facebook Pixel.
Currently, there are two main ways that you can use to install a Facebook Pixel:
- Manually, directly in your site. The instructions on how to achieve that can be found here. Did you remember going through the process in that article to manually add the pixel in your site?
- Doing it automatically. That may be the case when another plugin or your site’s theme automatically adds the Facebook Pixel’s tracking code in your site. In most cases, you can try finding the plugin that’s doing that or finding an option in your theme that should allow you to disable it.
I visited your site and using the Facebook Pixel Helper Chrome extension, it seems that the setup method is manual, so could you let me know if any of the above was helpful in finding out how to proceed?
Looking forward to your response.

I’m happy to further investigate this error with you to find out more regarding why the sale_price_effective_date isn’t recognized as expected from Facebook. As a first step, would it be possible to share a screenshot of the error with me to take a closer look? ??
You can use a service like Imgur or Snipboard to create a link that allows you to proceed.
Looking forward to your response.

I hope you have an excellent weekend!

SkyVergeThank you for your response, @vinibiruley ! Of course, you can use the following snippet as discussed:
Adding that snippet to the child theme of your site will have the same effect as using the Code Snippets plugin. We recommend the Code Snippets plugin as a more user-friendly way to make these changes. ??
After adding the snippet, you’ll need to also navigate to WooCommerce > Facebook > Product sync and then click on the “Sync products” button? In short, this snippet will re-generate the checkout URL of your Facebook products so that instead of redirecting to the Cart, it will redirect to the Product page.
Would you please let me know if after adding the snippet above and syncing the products again your customers are redirected to the product page? ??
Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,
Pit
SkyVergeHey @vinibiruley ,
Thank you for your swift response and apologies for any confusion caused. As you’ve mentioned, the error seems to appear on my end too, however, I didn’t phrase my previous message correctly to indicate that. My apologies on that.
As a next step, I’ll be reaching out to our team for further consultation as to why variations with multiple options aren’t working as expected in this regard. For variable products that only use one set of variations, my previous message does include more information on what may be causing this issue.
In short, your customers aren’t asked to choose a variation because our plugin will sync each different variation as a unique product. So, when a customer chooses one from Facebook, they will get redirected directly to the cart to proceed with the checkout. One thing that you can consider to work around this limitation would be redirecting customers to the product page.
To do that, I’ll need to share a snippet with you. Before doing that, I’ll need to note that:
- That customizations are not covered under our support policy, so implementing the snippet directly or modifying it further isn’t something we can assist with.
- Please be sure you know how to add custom code to your site. Personally, I like the free Code Snippets plugin method.
So, to recap based on the above, would you be interested in testing if that snippet can be of assistance in this case while I’m consulting with our team regarding the issue with the variable products with more than one variations aren’t working as expected?
Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,
Pit
