In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Promotional productHey @jessica1418 ,
Thank you very much for confirming this for me.
I’ve asked one of our engineers to take a closer look and it seems that this is caused because the plugin won’t sync the correct sync date. As you’ve noticed, it may sync the previous day than the one set on the WooCommerce side, thus causing this issue.
This points to a bug of the plugin related to a store’s timezone, so we’ll proceed with filing a bug on our end. Sorry for not being able to share better news with you on this one. While I don’t have an estimated time for resolution right now, please know that our team is now aware of the issue and will work to incorporate a fix into the plugin as soon as they can.
Would you please let me know if this is helpful? Anything else I can help you with?
Best regards,
PitHey @gmedel ,
Thanks so much for sharing more information with me. I’m really sorry to hear that the latest update of our plugin has started causing these issues.
The critical errors about the allocated memory could be affecting the sync process for the products to the Facebook Shop. Could you let me know if you’ve tried raising the memory limit of your site to a larger enemy to check if this is affecting the edit process?
Also, the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin will try to sync a product to your Facebook Shop when making a change to a product and trying to update. So, if the syncing process doesn’t proceed as expected, it could interrupt the editing of the product.
Would it be possible to make adjustments to your site’s memory limit and check if the performance is improved?
Looking forward to your response.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Product variations don’t syncHey @virzillo ,
Thanks so much for sharing more information with me. Yeah, a URL would be really useful in order to take a closer look at the product and better understand what may be causing this issue.
Also, about the Google categories in the sync page, would you like to remove the categories that are already used? These fields usually start empty by default, so I’d be very interested to find out more about what you’d like to achieve.
Looking forward to your response.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Attribute Slug shown instead of Attribute NameHey @voxoff ,
Thanks for your response and sharing these screenshots with me. My apologies for asking for more clarifications, but are you referring to the part under the “Details”?
Would it be possible to let me know if you’d like to instead say “Dimensions (cm)” which is the name of the product?
Looking forward to your response.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Promotional productHey @jessica1418 ,
Thank you for the confirmation. This is helpful to better understand if there’s another plugin that may be causing this behavior.
Our plugin has been designed to send the start date of a sale with your data when syncing in your Facebook shop, however, it’s possible that Facebook doesn’t correctly read that. As a next step, would it be possible to share with me a bit more information regarding what time you noticed this issue and what timezone your site is currently using? ??
Looking forward to your response.

Thanks so much for sharing more information with me.
Taking a step back, I’d like to also ask a bit more information regarding the products on the Facebook Shop. Would it be possible to share with me a URL of one of the affected products so we can check the Facebook page? It would be really helpful to take a closer look on our end too.
Is this something that would interest you?

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Main Image not updating on Facebook CatalogHey @kfontecilla ,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Happy to help you further investigate this.
As a first step, would it be possible to let me know a bit more regarding this case? You’ve mentioned that the product image doesn’t update on all the items neither the product gallery when you change it. Are you referring to your WooCommerce store or the Facebook shop?
Also, would it be possible to let me know if the product you’re trying to update is a variable product or a simple product?
Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,
PitHey @gmedel ,
Thanks for reaching out to us. I’m sorry to hear you’ve encountered this issue! Happy to further investigate this with you!
As a first step, I’m going to need a bit more information about the number of products you currently have. Do you encounter a specific error when trying to edit a product? Does the same issue persist if Facebook for WooCommerce is disabled temporarily?
Lastly, you’ve mentioned that you tried re-connecting the plugin. Does that mean you disabled and re-enabled it? Or did you use the “Uninstall” button in the WooCommerce > Facebook > Connection page?
Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,
Pit
