In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Adding Inventory | FaceBookHey @l0l0l ,
Thank you very much for reaching out to us! Happy to help here!
I’m going to need a bit more information in order to better understand this case. You’ve mentioned that you created a catalog and then started adding products. Did you do that manually or did this happen automatically after completing the setup of our plugin?
Also, you’ve mentioned that the “inventory has been adding in for over a day.” Could you let me know what process you were following and what you were aiming to achieve in this case? I’m afraid that I don’t fully understand this step.
Looking forward to your response.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] GDPR + FB PixelHey @charlesdonnison ,
Thank you very much for reaching out to us! Happy to help with your questions!
As you’ve mentioned, the tracking scripts related to the Facebook Pixel required by our plugin will always load even if a customer hasn’t specifically opted for them. Currently, there’s a custom way to change that by using a filter that disables the tracking scripts being loaded. The filter is: facebook_for_woocommerce_integration_pixel_enabled
If you’re looking for a specific setup, you can consider using the Cookie Notice for GDPR & CCPA plugin with a snippet we’ve created.
Before sharing the snippet, please be aware of a couple notes:
- I’m afraid that customizations are not covered under our support policy, so implementing this directly or modifying it further isn’t something we can assist with.
- Please be sure you know how to add custom code to your site. Personally, I like the free Code Snippets plugin method.
You can view the snippet here: https://gist.github.com/simonporter007/8b8374502430d330f00c28e398f42019
Is this something that would interest you?
Looking forward to your response.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] No more syncing option within a product pageHey @jhonb ,
I’m afraid I don’t have a timeframe for the new release, but our team is hard at work to make the change soon. We hope that it’ll be released in the next few weeks, but since we’re making some significant changes to the way the plugin functions, we want to make sure we’ve spend enough time perfecting it before we deploy it.
In the meantime, I’m sorry for not being able to provide you with a better alternative at the moment. Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with!
Best regards,
Pit

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] GMetrix warning leverage browser cachingHey @jdelgadoesteban ,
Thank you very much for your patience!
I had a discussion with one of my colleagues and it seems that changing the expiration time of the headers isn’t something that we can further assist you with. That being said, I’ve made sure to log your feedback for our product team to review. Thank you for bringing this up to our attention.
In the meantime, I’ve been able to track some resources that may be helpful to you. It seems that there’s a way to change the expiration period of a header from your server. You can find more information here. I also found this article very helpful in understanding the logic behind this warning.
You can contact your hosting provider and ask them more information regarding changing the expiration period of the said headers so they can help you build your preferred setup. I’d like to also note that we haven’t tested this process before, so I’d recommend not making any changes on your own unless you know what you’re doing.
I hope all of the above are helpful. In the meantime, is there anything else I can help you with?
Best regards,
Pit

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] No more syncing option within a product pageHey @jhonb ,
Thank you very much for taking such swift action!
I’m afraid that there’s not a lot we can currently do, since this closely related to the issue our team is tracking regarding variable products not syncing as expected. I’m really sorry for not being able to provide you with a working solution at the moment.
I’ve made sure to log your feedback for our team to review and take into consideration for our new version. In the meantime, another alternative could be creating simple products in your WooCommerce store instead of variable products. That could allow you to still have a copy of your products in your Facebook Shop and WooCommerce store, even though I understand that this may not be the best alternative in terms of what you want to achieve.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.
Best regards,
Pit

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] No more syncing option within a product pageHey @jhonb ,
My sincerest apologies about my previous message. The box I’m referring to was removed in the latest update of our plugin, as was the FB Sync Column.
I consulted with one of my colleagues and they mentioned that we had to remove some of the plugin functionality due to security concerns pertaining its use. Specifically for your case, it seems that our team is tracking an issue with how variable products are synced that’s causing this random behavior.
At the moment, there are couple of alternatives that you can consider:
- Change the visibility of a product directly from the database of your WooCommerce Site. This can be done with the help of a phphmyadmin plugin if you’re interested, but I wouldn’t recommend making any changes to your site’s database unless you’re an experienced user. If you decide to follow this alternative, you’ll need to reset the fb_visibility metakey to “yes”.
- You can create and apply a snippet if you’re interested in making this change.
We’re also working on a new version of our plugin that it’s aimed to improve its performance and resolve many difficulties pertaining its usage. You can also wait for the new version of our plugin to get released which will re-introduce lots of functionality that will allow you to make these adjustments easier. I’m afraid that I don’t have an estimation for its release, but our team is working hard to make it the soonest possible.
I’m sorry for not being able to share better news with you on this one. Is there anything else I can help you with?
Best regards,
Pit

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] No more syncing option within a product pageHey @jhonb ,
Thank you very much for sharing the links with me!
Since you’ve confirmed that the sync setting is enabled for all variable products, then it’s possible that only that specific variable is having trouble syncing. Would it be possible to reset the Facebook Metadata from the metadata box for that product?
You’ll need to navigate to your Facebook Catalog and click on the specific product in order to find the box I’m referring to.
After resetting the metadata, make sure to also update the said variable product in your WooCommerce store for the sync process to trigger. Would it be possible to let me know if this helps the product sync whenever you have a chance to go through it?
Looking forward to your response.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] GMetrix warning leverage browser cachingHey @jdelgadoesteban ,
Thank you very much for providing me with more information! I’ll need to consult with our team to further investigate if this something that can be changed on our team.
Based on the documentation provided by GMetrix, this warning is usually generated when some of the headers expire too soon. It may impact the performance of a site because a customer visiting another page in your site may need to load these scripts again in their browser in order to proceed.
I’ve made sure to reach out to our team in case there’s any information I’m missing. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I’ll reach out to you again soon with more information.
In the meantime, don’t hesitate to let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help you.

Thank you very much for reaching out to us! Happy to help with your questions!
I’m afraid that this isn’t possible with this plugin. You can add one custom tab per product, and only from the Product page itself. Bulk actions aren’t supported by this version of our plugin. You can consider trying the premium version instead called WooCommerce Tab Manager that does allow for the creation of Global Tabs.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help you.

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] No more syncing option within a product pageHey @jhonb ,
Thank you very much for your response and providing me with more information. I’m sorry to hear that our plugin is causing you trouble with the visibility of your products in your Facebook Shop.
Would it be possible to provide me a bit more information regarding the products that are showing as “staging” in your Facebook Shop? Is the “Include in Facebook Sync” setting enabled? If you’re using variant products, then you may need to enable this setting for every single product as well.
Also, could you let me know the type of products that aren’t showing in order to further investigate?
Looking forward to your response.

Thank you very much for reaching out to us. Happy to help with your questions!
We’ve removed the “FB Sync Enabled” column as a functionality for the time being due to a security vulnerability in the Facebook connection. You can find more information here. If you’d like to disable syncing for a WooCommerce product to your Facebook Shop, you can do that by instead navigating at the product itself and under the Product Data, you can find either a “Facebook” tab for simple products or an option to disable the sync of a product for every unique variation.
Let me know if you’d like more clarifications on that. In the meantime, is there anything else I can help with?
