Hi @tobifjellner, thanks for your suggestion. I tried it and the numbered list now works but it’s in roman numerals. Do you have an edit to get it in to regular numbers (1. 2. 3. etc.) please?

Unfortunately the bullet points still don’t show up at all. Any other suggestions for this?

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to reply. Just to clarify, the featured image for the page and the images embedded into widgets (footer and a sidebar one on the contact page) look fine. I’m happy with those. My problem is with the images in the main part of the page. For example, on this page:

– The first picture is a featured image and it’s fine.
– The second picture’s distorted on mobile screens (it looks fine if you open the page on a PC).
– the third picture is two pictures joined and uploaded as one picture. It’s landscape orientation and is very distorted on mobile screens.
– the fourth picture is distorted, like the second one.
– The fifth and sixth pictures are portrait pictures and look okay.
-The four footer pictures (all monkeys) are fine.

I hope that makes the problem a bit clearer.

Hi Steve, thanks. I’m never really sure whether the problems I have are WordPress problems, Theme-specific problems or just me being a bit incompetent! Sorry if this was the wrong forum, I’ve reposted it on the Hotel Galaxy theme forum. I’ll leave this thread unsolved until I close the other one.

As for the Homepage, you were right, but I posted the problem on the theme’s support page and got the following response which solved it (I’m re-posting the response here in case it helps someone else struggling with the same problem).

If you want to make your homepage like your other pages then first you need to remove the file “front-page.php” in your theme package after it, you need to select template in your homepage (Default Template), please refer to screenshot URL https://prnt.sc/rk30hb

Thank you for your prompt response. It was interesting to watch the video and learn how to use the ‘slider’ feature but I would prefer to have a homepage without it. I would like to set up a homepage just with pictures and text (as I can do with the other pages). Can you tell me how to do this please?

Thanks for getting back to me. I looked on the Appearance -> Widgets section but there’s nothing showing there except the widgets I’ve put in.

Thank you so much. I hadn’t realised that the customizer was set to save draft instead of publish so although I hadn’t actually made any changes, it had saved a draft and wouldn’t let me progress.
