Thanks for the update, @johnweru!
We have a client site with a similar issue. My client has version 2.2.43, also well above the current version listed as 1.5.29.
Thanks

In reply to: [Redirection] Collapsed TableAfter getting advice from my local WP community, I’ve turned off logging. So far, it seems to be working.
Thanks for the info. If it does happen again, I’ll follow up with the host. If it’s not logging 404 errors, the table should remain empty and wouldn’t collapse unless like you said, the disk is corrupt or something.

In reply to: [Redirection] Collapsed TableI in part agree, but it’s hard to believe it’s just be a coincidence that it was a table this plugin creates. The only table that collapsed, and did it twice.
thanks anyway.

In reply to: [Redirection] Collapsed TableHere is this from the database –
#144 – Table
‘./globalwr_gnuone1/glo_redirection_404’ is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failedForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Redirection] Collapsed TableSorry for the delay,
I exported the settings, uninstalled the plugin, installed it again, imported the settings, and it worked for a few days.
It has again collapsed, but I only know it because I can’t get a backup with WorpDrive/iControlWP. It normally works fine, but recently stopped with this message –
What Failed – Backup For Site: GlobalWrites
Reason For Failure – One or more of your database tables have crashed and need to be repaired.
Date and Time Of Last Failure – 2018/03/26 06:45So, the site itself is not showing an error; is there a log for the plugin I can send you?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Shortcode only partially workingThanks! That turned out to not be the problem, but it did make me dig deeper, because it seemed the shortcode wasn’t the problem. Turns out the site developer had added a function to change the default sort order, and that was overriding the shortcode.
On the other hand, you were correct, single quotes are what I should have used.

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] Login glitchI’m using WP Fastest Cache, and have not experienced this type of issue. So while it only happens when WPFC is activated, there might be some sort of conflict with another plugin or something.
Check the Exclude tab, make sure that /wp-login.php is an excluded page.
If it still happens, try turning off other plugins, see if that stops the behavior.

I am also still getting warnings this morning.
I’m going to take a different view from others. I appreciate the great plugin, and an occasional issue like this is far better than my sites being compromised. I deal with almost 40 sites myself, and I would much rather have to go in and make individual setting changes than have you not keep making improvements to the plugin.
It’s not ideal, but far better than any worst-case alternative.
If you don’t enable new features automatically, then you will hear from a different group who have to go into dozens of sites manually to turn it on.
Thanks!
That’s a great idea! I’m currently tied to InfiniteWP, at least for a while. Any chance of working it into that, also?

In reply to: [WP Customer Reviews] All reviews have disappearedI can tell what is happening, just not why or how to correct it.
version 2.4.8 created a table in the database called wpcreviews to store the reviews.
version 3.0.1 is storing then in the posts table as a custom post type.
I’m just not skilled enough to know how to safely merge the two tables.

In reply to: [Global Flash Gallery] Virus embedded in plugin.class.phpwp-content/plugins/commercial-flash-galleries/commercial.Art.php
wp-content/plugins/commercial-flash-galleries/inc/commercial.php
Wordfence is giving the following warning for both of these files:
This file is a PHP executable file and contains an eval() function and base64() decoding function on the same line. This is a common technique used by hackers to hide and execute code. If you know about this file you can choose to ignore it to exclude it from future scans.
Is there anything I need to be worried about? I did the most recent update and rescanned, still got these warnings. My client likes the plugin, but this is worrisome.
