Oh wait… I was using the subdirectories (not directories) on the pretty permalink. Let me try with that one.

I never used the post name on the permalinks because I always got errors when I tried to use the featured pages on the front page.

I tried what you said time and if I change permalinks to post names and language to pretty permalinks, when I try to switch languages on any page or on the Main Menu, it tells me the browser can’t find the server and the url on top is https://fr.daiglecoaching.com.

I went to the home page and hit the translated page and updated it to make sure the url had been updated, but nothing changed…. Any other ideas?

I can’t use pretty permalinks because that option is grayed out (probably because I started using WPML and I had to migrate everything to Polylang. I had to use the option:
The language is set from the code in the URL
Example: https://www.daiglecoaching.com/?lang=en&p=1

Like I said, everything worked fine until the last update.

I had the same problem and switched to Polylang yesterday. It was easy with the WPML to Polylang plugin and now everything works. I am asking for a refund on WPML.

I am having the same problem. Please help! My home page is in English and features 3 pages in English. When I set up the translated home page (in French), in the customization menu I select the corresponding featured page in French, and then when I check the website, the English home page also features the page in French. In other words, both home pages (English and French) are pointing to exact same page, not to the corresponding language one.
