Are you receiving server permission errors or user permission errors?

It’s also worth mentioning that WordPress 4.2 is still in alpha so some features may not work correctly. I would try 4.1

You will need to ensure all your MySQL database details are correct in the wp-config.php file.

You should be able to reset these detail within your hosting control panel.

Are you wanting to replace https://airborneathletics.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/logo1.png ?

Looks like the theme does handle the logo, but uploading a .png file with the same name to the same location will work in the same way..

Have you installed any new plugins or themes since you noticed that the customize menu isn’t working correctly?

I would also recommend enabling PHP error logging. This can be done with the following code in your .htaccess file

# enable PHP error logging
php_value error_reporting 30719
php_flag log_errors on
php_value error_log /var/www/php_error_your_domain.log

Do you have FTP access? If so I would recommend uploading a fresh copy of the WordPress core files, being careful not to overwrite your wp-config.php file or wp-contents folder.
