In reply to: My gaming Lifestyle Site.Page width = 1220px??
Tables instead of divs??
Sorry, but that’s bad, really bad.Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: My Alcudia Holidays website1. I’d make the template wider.
Your #wrap_talia is only 930px wide. Try setting width of all your containers in %. It will work great.2. Navigation menu is white-on-yellow.
It’s hard to read.3. Searchbar will look more compact at top right, not center.
4. Look at the footer.
The copyright thing (? 2009 Alcudia Holidays) should go the second, not the first.5. And maybe add some more information to the main page.
Though there are a lot of useful links, it looks a little bit empty.6. Links are great. Because they are underlined and change color )
But for example here:
https://alcudiaholidays.org.uk/package-holidays-alcudia
yellow-on-green = not good.7. Let’s make a trick.
Switch off all images and look at your website. See it?
Never let bad background to steel your information. What i almost adore is the way your sidebars are positioned.
I mean the code.
That’s great, though i rarely see such an organization )Forum: Your WordPress

In reply to: A new business community website powered by wordpressI’m sorry to say that, but the design is taken from 90s.
This is not the way it works now.
And i agree with ArnoldGoodway, the scrolling marquee is not good. How about using some nice free template?

In reply to: My community powered by WordPress with full vBulletin integrationWell, let me be not so optimistic.
If the key point is integration with forum, than everything is great.
But design needs to be reworked.Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: My Liitle Computer Blog1. “Free WordPress Themes” at the top = bad.
2. Annoying ads at the bottom right = VERY bad.
Some stupid gel at a computer blog??
No, thank you.
3. 2 tag clouds = what for?
4. If you write in your native language, than don’t use english in your template.
5. Look at this screenshot:

(1) = You have problem with code.
(2) = If those are two buttons than separate them.
(3) = Auto resizing is good. It saves your time. But looks unprofessional.Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: Filthstift Portfolio onlinei love 960 grid. Can not even explain why .)
Your site looks very nice. Good work .)
But i’d make some suggestions.1. Change the background color of #main to #1b1b1b (the bg color of the sidebar) or another.
Using solid black is not a good practice, because your eyes will get tired too fast.2. Change the background image.
It’s a large picture 1600×1200, it takes ages for it to download.
Try using pattern 20×20, your site users will tell you Thanks.3. Enlarge the main font size.
It’s too small and hard to read. Remember that white-on-black requires bigger font size than black-on-white.
Though 12px is ok, making it 13 or even 14 won’t be a bad idea.4. I don’t really like “Sites” as a main page.
I really don’t get where i am and what i’m looking at.
Is it really a portfolio?
Than you got the wrong theme. Look for another one, there are plenty of them, made specially for portfolios.Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: “Submit” Button is not showing up in the blogI agree with esmi.
Try switching to the default theme.
The problem can be hidden either in theme code or in css.Forum: Your WordPress
