I have had this same issue today on one site. By deselecting multipart upload it worked without error.
However, checking the log I think it uploaded anyway, even with the error. This is the error log, fixed log follows

In reply to: [Before After Image Slider Lite] Not compatibleApologies Adrian and thanks for the fast answer – this wasn’t meant to be a support request.
This was on a vanilla site with only Akismet and ‘Hello Dolly’ on it so I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the other plugins. Maybe some other change to my server has caused the problem. Anyway, quite likely others will find it works for them, as you rightly say.

Many thanks for this helpful link. This worked exactly as expected. Don’t forget to restart apache/ngnix afterwards.
