In reply to: [Quotes for WooCommerce] Unethical step by TechnoVamaHi @thebackspacex,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback. I understand the frustration regarding the change to the quote feature, and I’m sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
Offering this feature as part of the premium plan was a difficult decision, but it was necessary to ensure the sustainability of the plugin’s development and support. Maintaining a free version alongside the premium version involves significant time and resources. To avoid discontinuing the free version entirely, we decided to move this feature to the paid plan.
I hope this provides some context, and please know that we truly value your support and understanding. Please feel free to reach out for any other questions or feedback.
Thanks,
Pinal

In reply to: [Quotes for WooCommerce] Show price on product single pageHi @jaxrachel,
Thank you for using the Quotes for WooCommerce plugin. Can you kindly let me know if you want to display the product price on the single product page, but not display it on the Cart and Checkout pages (as shipping etc. will be added once the quote is finalized and the total will be updated)?
Thanks,
Pinal

In reply to: [Quotes for WooCommerce] Translation problemHi @webreneszansz,
Sorry for the delay in response. I tried to replicate the issue at my end. Below are the steps I followed:
- Create the spanish translation of the plugin using Poedit software.
- Add quote-wc-es_ES.po & quote-wc-es_ES.mo file in /wp-content/plugins/quotes-for-woocommerce/languages folder.
- Go to WordPress dashboard > Settings > Site Lnaguage and change the language to Spanish.
- Open the site shop page as a guest user, add a quote product to the cart and go to Checkout.
- The translation is shown fine (https://app.screencast.com/LkUkU345bTaca)
- Place the order and check the Thank You page (https://app.screencast.com/HyoPJxAo1JcEJ)
Can you kindly check and ensure that the translation file is placed correctly and all the cache is cleared.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Pinal

In reply to: [Quotes for WooCommerce] Imported products are have prices?Hi @orbitcarrot,
I’ve checked the default WooCommerce Import feature and it allows you to add custom fields and data for those as needed.
I’ve tested the sample_products.csv (found in plugins/woocommerce/sample-data) by modifying it to add the meta field for the quote setting and it’s value.
Meta Key/column name: “Meta: qwc_enable_quotes”
Meta Value/column value: on
So you can simply add the key and value to your importer file and when you import it from WordPress Dashboard > Products > Import, the importer will show you the data as shown in the screenshot: https://app.screencast.com/Sayam2yBar83E
Kindly click on the Run Importer button and the products will be imported with the quote feature enabled.
In case if you need me to share the modified sample_products.csv with you so you can see how it looks, please reach out on support at technovama dot com.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Pinal

In reply to: [Quotes for WooCommerce] Imported products are have prices?Hi @orbitcarrot,
Thank you for using the Quotes for WooCommerce plugin. Can you kindly let me know if you need to import products frequently?
When the “Enable Quotes for all products” setting is enabled in the plugin settings page, the plugin enables quotes for all published products. For any new products that are created after the setting has been enabled, the plugin automatically enables quotes when the ‘Save’ button is clicked on the Add/Edit product page.
You have mentioned that the same is not happening when products are imported. Can you kindly let me know which importer plugin do you use?
Thanks,
Pinal

In reply to: [Quotes for WooCommerce] This order cannot be paid for.Hi @pcangel,
Can you kindly let me know the order status for the order where this message is displayed?
Also, please let me know if this issue is present for all quote orders or only this one in particular?

Hi @mrmind,
The feature to enable/disable quotes for individual products is now a part of the paid plan. The Pro version can be purchased from here.
This decision was not made lightly, but it allows me to continue improving and maintaining the free version of the plugin. I appreciate your understanding and am committed to providing the best experience possible.
In case of any further queries, please feel free to reach out to [email protected]
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Regards,
Pinal
