And I agree with Vavroom – having music load/play on loading your site is one of the biggest annoyances you can imagine. Make sure your visitors have the option to load/play as THEIR choice.

I hate having to add my voice to this particular thread, but I’m also experiencing the slow-down.

2.0.3 was absolutely fine. No problems at all during the upgrade to 2.0.4, no errors generated.

Logging in is a nightmare at times. I’ve experienced delays of up to a minute before the admin panel appears. Since disabling display of the admin panel with all news stuff, things have improved marginally (only by a couple of seconds though) and in no way near enough to call it a real improvement.

Posting results in long delays on occasion. What’s really frustrating is that it’s not an everytime occurance, so it’s really difficult to pin down at what stage the slow-down occurs.

Similarly, editing posts results in the same delays. Again, not every time.

Turning the cache on or off makes very little difference, although as Choopafrank says, there IS an impact on server load without it.

I thought it was just me, so I’m pleased (not in a happy way though) to see I’m not the only one experiencing this. Hopefully someone really clever out there will come to our salvation.

Well just to update…

I’ve removed and reinstalled Zoundry. Tried again a couple of times to post and the still appear on the list in the admin panel as ‘published’ but they still refuse to show up on the blog itself.

I’ve also noticed the posts themselves (as they appear in the admin panel) are full of html code when I click ‘edit’, something I don’t normally see in the posts.

‘View post’ shows the post correctly.

I’m baffled.

Don’t quite know what I’m doing wrong, or what may be wrong with this app but…

I’ve tried to post a couple of tims using it. The posts I create DO appear in the post list when viewing the list in the admin panel, BUT they DON’T publish for some reason.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I’m using Opera 9, but unlike HandySolo, it’s not scrolling but instead dragging the whole notepad ??

If you can sort out the scroll problem, it’d be fantastic.

Why don’t you change the ‘No comments’ text to something like ‘Click here to leave a comment’?

Like greatgoron says, liquid layouts are the best. I really cant understand why so many people continue to design pages that are squashed up to the left of the page or use only a very narrow column in the centre.

As soon as I see a fluid layout utilising the whole of the page it gets a thumbs up almost immediately.

I’ve experienced the very same thing too. Technorati, even when manually pinging, seems to be way off.

I’ve also noticed the number of spam blogs it’s flagging up has increased exponentially during the last few months.

Methinks they need to sort it out quickly, else it’ll lose credibility rapidly.
