Thanks Rian, with your help I resolved both problem.
For the first problem, I found im my theme an options for crop the pics correctly. For the secondo problem, thanks at your suggest, I installed the plugin for logging the email sent by my site.
Now I have the problem that the pics of the category are cut like the problem with product, but in my thema don’t found any options for the thumbanils of the category, for you can I resolve this other problem?

I take this post and ask you for help me, to eliminate the zoom and lightbox function of the products images in Woocommerce Version 3.3.4.
I tried some plugins (like wc-disable-zoom-lightbox-featuresbut.zip or woo-product-image-gallery-options.zip) but they do not work (These plugin, probably, work with previous versione of woocommerce version 3.0), can you help me to disable the zoom and lightbox function?

Yes for avatar I say the image of the profile. In my site I have an account as admin without image profile and my name is Pietrogramma.
I created two other accounts with a fantasy Name (Roberto and Guia) like user (and not admin). Also Roberto and Guia don’t have image of profile.
If I loggin in the site with account Pietrogramma, The avatar letter for Pietrogramma, Roberto and Guia is the P(ietrogramma), but if I logout and then enter with Roberto’s or Guia’s credentiala, the users without image profile, like image of the profile have all the letter R(oberto) or G(uia).

You must translate also the files:
1) buddypress-wall\includes\templates\bp-legacy\buddypress\activity\post-wall-form.php
2) buddypress-wall\includes\templates\bp-default\buddypress\activity\post-wall-form.php

in these file search the string “Write something to %s?” and translate only “Write something to” with your language.

I Installed your plugin, but there is a problem, When I login in my buddypress site, I see that all members without avatar are the same my first letter “P”. If I loggin with another name (for example Roberto) all other member witout avatar are the same letter “R”, how I can resolve?
