BTW users can “truly” adapt the height of the shoutbox.

If you want to code a little more (combining javascript and php), by playing with cookies you’ll can keep the height settings per user ;).

download Poedit from here : https://www.poedit.net/
download the “wordspew-es_ES.po” from the sub-folder “lang” of the “pierres-wordspew” folder edit it, it will generate a file “wordspew-es_ES.mo” that you’ll have to re-upload to the same folder it came from, replacing the “old” one.

there’s no time “limit” in the archive part. It’s linked to the number of displayed messages. It’s a parameter (35 by default) in the admin part. As soon as this number is outdated, “olders” messages are archived.

what version of WP do you use ? I ask you that, because you talk about a manual “installation” of the shoutbox in your sidebar.

The new release requires WordPress Version: 2.5 or higher ;).
The 5.3 release needed at least WP 2.2. But if you want to use the shoutbox in an old environment (1.5) you have to download the 5.2 version.
In short, if you use an older version of WP you should downgrade the shoutbox to be able to correctly use it.

try to deactivate the plugin then check the checkbox and activate it by cliking on the button on the top of the page or the one at the bottom. Don’t click on the link “Activate”.

I just read your message and have a look at the lines you’re talking about and I haven’t notice any important error.

Do you think that it can cause some errors during the update process ?
I have correct some code beetween the release 5.2 and 5.3 who normally correct the errors codes while you activate or update the shoutbox.

Anyway, thank you for the sloppy code, i do my best like in english that like you know is not my mother tongue ;).

no need to add extra rule in your .htaccess ??

Connect to phpMyAdmin and you’ll find a table named wp_blogs (or any other prefix you choose).
If you’ve got the redirect problem, in the field domain, normally you’ll find the value www.yourdomain.com (without https:// www.remarpro.com transform my code…) replace it by yourdomain.com
