I don’t understand why it doesn’t work in “standard” format (define ('WPLANG', 'nl_NL'))…
Anyway, the dutch translation is pretty old and that’s why a lot of translation are missing. If you feel to update the dutch translation ;). If you do it, don’t forget to send me the files (MO and PO files) at pierre at monblogamoua dot fr.

weird, this is not really common to see that kind of syntax in wp-config ;).
Try to change this line to define ('WPLANG', 'nl_NL');
or to rename the file wordspew-nl_NL.mo to wordspew-nl.mo.

download wordspew-nl_NL.po on your PC from the subfolder lang (under pierres-wordspew) edit locally the file with Poedit, do your modifications, save it. It will generate a wordspew-nl_NL.mo file. Upload it in the lang folder (where it came from) on your server and you’re ok ;).

PS. If you’ve done the complete (or a big part of) translation, share with others users by sending me a copy of wordspew-nl_NL.po at pierre at monblogamoua dot fr ;).

it seems that your wp-config.php file (at the root of your install) have not been correctly modified. When you try to access it shows the signs ??? that typically proove that the file have not been save in UTF-8 without BOM ;).
So, to correct this, you should downlod Notepad++ from here, locally edit your file by precising the UTF-8 without BOM format (in Encoding menu) ; re-save it, then re-upload it to your server ;).

i’ve just done some test with IE7, FF, Google Chrome and there is no problem for me. Your box is well defined at 400px… The only problem i had was with IE9 beta who was unable to display your page correctly without the compatibility mode.

PS. if you redefined the size of the shoutbox with the “-” sign in Google Chrome, then it’s normal that the size of your box is resided ;). If you want to reset the size option by default with the one defined in your css file ; then in Google Chrome, go in “Option” -> “Advanced options” -> “Content parameters” then in the “Cookies” part click on “Show cookies and others data website” there, search for “dj-lounge.nl” and remove the cookie named : “jalHeight” ;).

Anyway, here the answer i give to someone that apparently have the same problem that yours.

at line 988 of your style.css, you have :

#sidebar embed, #sidebar object {
        height: 250px;
        margin: 0;
        padding: 0;
        width: 300px;
    }

where you define in “hard code” a height of 250px for object… And there is an object (for sound) with the shoutbox.
So you have two possibilities :

1/ You comment the line : height: 250px;
2/ you add in css.php : #shoutbox object#TheBox { height:1px; } or something similar (i haven’t tested it ;))

Keep me inform.

PS. And please upgrade your box to the last release ??

sorry to have been so long to give you my answer but like i can’t help with CubePoints because i don’t know at all… this explains it ;).

So, if you want to do something after the insertion of a message in the shoutbox you could add your code at line 392 (in wordspew.php) just right after jal_deleteOld($shout_cat); and do your test ;).

PS. The line i’m talking about is in the last release (5.61).

the shoutbox use the native moderation list of WP but Editors can’t access this list. Just try to load the “/wp-admin/options-discussion.php” in your browser when you’ll be logged as Editor and you’ll see what i mean ?? this is not my choice it’s a WP constraint…

So BTW i haven’t reason to show them the “ban user” button ;).
