I just need ideas around controlling post width, you don’t need to see the blog. The problem is clear, the post content is too wide. What can I do about that?

thanks I did already. I think I’ve tried every plugin there is, none seem to work. is there something I’m missing? all other plugins I install work fine…

thanks samboll but I don’t think that does what I want. that plugin seems to hide the category nav only, but what I want is to *have* the category nav, but not have any *posts* from that category show up on the home page. any ideas there?

For reference, the patch rdsmes proposed did not work for me.

yes, it’s from 2.0 and when I first switch to it the upgrade script tries to fix something but I still get this problem.

thanks, but I’ve done that 6 times now. used 2 different ftp progs with ascii. and I also tried even uploading and extracting a the zip on the server, still the same issues.
