My issue has come about by a particular large database.
I added a website template plugin and after that the backups failed – most likely due to the increase in the database size.
I am told that now I can only do manual backups by contacting the hosting site.
Does anyone know of another way to do backups?

HI! I have the same problem and would appreciate some help.
Updraftplus worked fine in July and hasn’t done auto backups or completed manual backups since then.
I have changed the chunk size to 200MB, memory is 512MB and time limit 300. Plenty of space on google drive.
What can I do next to get it to complete?
Last few lines of log are:

The wp-config.php does exist. I don’t know what the values should be.
The database it references does exist with .84MB
There is a later database but it has only .05MB and lots of woocommerce folders

After having a look at the config file I tried accessing the site through admin again. This time I got this message:
“To allow use of this page to automatically repair database problems, please add the following line to your wp-config.php file. Once this line is added to your config, reload this page. define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true); ” the page being https://websitename/wp-admin/maint/repair.php?referrer=is_blog_installed

I did this but it didn’t make any difference.

I am not sure what to do now.
Any suggestions?

The first page is actually a post and I can edit it after all – thanks I was looking in the wrong place for that one. The second page (About the Author) is in the page section but it is the one out of date.
I can’t access the third page.
