AH, so even though other posts say the ionCube plugin is not needed, it is.
As I use DreamHost someone already made an easy way to install IonCube. Check here: https://sxi.sabrextreme.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3
Except now the problem is different:
1. WP-Realty does not show up in the plugins list, anywhere.
2. When using the WP-Realty Administration under Tools in the WordPress admin page, the following error is shown:
