Yes… It seems not to be related to the WordPress plugin… but might be related to Cookiebot core…The problem seems to occur because you add some custom Javascript. We have not yet found an solution (or reason) for the behavior. But I will get back to you as soon as I have any updates.

Okay – so far I have not been able to reproduce the error. Can you provide me with som additional details about what browser you are using – and the OS you are running?
I just captured a screencast of withdraw consent and change consent on your site.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZJWonF0ejedWSTpw4KAOe649itrau_wa/viewCan you confirm it is the actions I do in the above video that doesn’t work for you?
Okay – now I think I know what the problem.
I works fine for me (and probably all your visitors). However – in the latest version of the Cookiebot WordPress Plugin we removed the consent banner from logged in users with “Edit Themes” capability. We did that, because Cookiebot in some cases conflicted with alternative editors like Divi and Elementor.
Can you please check if it work when you not logged into to WordPress?
Right now all users with “Edit Themes” capabilities automatic accepts all cookie types.

Hi @umeshnevase,
Just did a quick test – and it seems to work fine with our test setup.
Are you able to provide me with some additional information:
– What happens when the shortcode is added in content? Is the shortcode just outputted or nothing outputted at all?
– Can you provide a link to the website where you are using Cookiebot?Regards,
JohanThe issue should have been resolved in the latest version available through github (version 3.3.0). See: https://github.com/CybotAS/CookiebotWP/
You are welcome to confirm the latest development version works as expected. It should be available on www.remarpro.com later today.

Thanks for getting back. We looking into the issue and will update the thread when current status as soon as possible.
We are looking into it right now.
What version of Elementor and Elementor Pro do you use?
Are you able to paste the error from the Javascript Console when trying to edit the a post using Elementor?

@perryrylance
Sorry – I posted on the wrong pluginpage ??
Thanks for clairification me. Didn’t notice the missing “-plugin” in the plugon slug ??Hi @nimrod54,
The message from the plugin is only a notice. The WordPress plugin has no access to your Cookiebot Manager settings – so it is not possible to check if you already added German in the content section of the Cookiebot Manager. In your case you should be fine with ignoring the message.
Please let me know if you got any further questions.

Hi @rapportdesign,
We have identified the bug and we are currently testing a fix. You are welcome to test the bugfix – it is included in this development branch:
https://github.com/CybotAS/CookiebotWP/archive/feature/fix-tagging-bug.zip
I will let you know when a release is official.

I managed to replicate a similar error in a test setup. However there is still some differences, so I would like to investigate a bit further.
Are you able to provide me with an export of your WP Rocket settings (it seems to be related to this module). You can download the settings here:
/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wprocket#toolsFurthermore – are you able to sent a video/screenshot/text list of all installed plugins in your installation, so we are able to replicate the setup as precise as possible.
Best Regards,
Johan
