    Hey Robinin Texas,

    Thank you for your message.

I looked at that option. The only problem is that I run a membership site and often legitimate mistakes are made be members entering their username incorrectly. It would cause even more issues if these guys had their IP permanently blocked when this happens.

For this reason, it would be great is Wordfence enabled a feature whereby we could nominate the specific common hack usernames such as “admin” to permanently block.

    Cheers,
    Anthony

I agree…. I have spent ages trying to find a simple solution that will allow contributors to post and upload a simple image or two to be included in their post. All options I have found give this user access to ALL image libraries etc which include all other admin images.

Even if there was a way of limiting access to a specific library that was created just for users, this would be OK.

I have tried all sorts of plugins. The only one that comes close is Article Photo which refuses to work because of an Imagick error.

I am using NextGEN but for a visitor to my blog who is unfamiliar with all the tiny icons it is not very user/visitor friendly.

Surely there must be a very simple solution to the very basic posting feature thay gives users an “image to upload” option.

I sure hope someone can shed some light.
