Thanks. That makes sense. The link was helpful too. I tend to make things more difficult than they need to be, and this is a good example! I’ll use Categories and Posts.

I worked around this, and it turned out better, I think. I made the main menu heading point to a page with links to the other sub menu pages. So the user will see the same choices under the drop down or on the menu’s main heading page.

Thank you Bob, the custom link with # worked. However, the heading text still looks like a link (pointer changes to a pointing hand) when I hover over it. Doesn’t go anywhere, just looks like a link.

Unless there are other suggestions, I can live with this. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the link. I had overlooked the Screen Options setting to allow comments. The Screen Options choices are different, depending on what part of the program you’re in. As usual, I was missing something – thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
