I notice your sites uses Visual Composer. There WAS a conflict with this plugin when you logged this issue, it has since been fixed since v2.1

I suggest you update or re-download WP Roids and try again

Hmmm, upon deactivation WP Roids deletes all the static HTML files it has generated, as well as removing all its rules from .htaccess

IF the poo has hit the fan, do not panic! All you gotta do is:

• Manually edit .htaccess. Simply delete all lines in between (and including) “### BEGIN WP Roids – DO NOT REMOVE THIS LINE” down to “### END WP Roids – DO NOT REMOVE THIS LINE“
• Manually delete the wp-roids folder in your plugins directory
• That’s it!

I’ve “found” a copy of Visual Composer, and it was working, though I didn’t try setting background images, so will play some more

Then I’ll do the same with the SiteOrigin Page Builder

I’ve had a look at your links and cannot fathom where the problem lies

The generated WP Roids stylesheet contains the correct rules, but they aren’t implemented

I did see errors in my console when viewing source of your “working” site

Visual Composer is not my favourite plugin, it might have an impact

Have you got any sites using a free theme and not running VC? I ask because paid plugins are not checked by WordPress Team for coding standards

If that works, we can rule out a server issue

Don’t be too concerned by the <!– WP Roids cache file served by PHP script as .htaccess rewrite failed. Contact your host for explanation –> message if it is on your home page only – some hosts do have trouble with this. My older VPS running Plesk misses the home page generated by WP Roids, but my cloud + cPanel from the same host doesn’t :/

Try an inner Page or Post and see what the comment there is

@sagbee – I see a comment in your source that your have something called “Speed booster v4.5” running – try deactivating this

Either of you – if you could inspect your webpage when running WP Roids and see if there are any errors under the “Console” tab, that would help

I’ve tested WP Roids with Genesis and Metro Pro – it worked, console had no errors, display was fine

How did you test WP Roids on the demo? Am slightly confused by your post :/

I tested on latest Genesis and slightly older version of Metro Pro – all was well

If you’re concerned for the other guy above, he’s on NGINX, which doesn’t read/use .htaccess, so is bound to have issues
