I’m having similar problems with Scroll Gallery, we recently updated WordPress to 4.0 and Scroll Gallery to 1.8.2. We noticed that one seemingly random image in each gallery was not showing the image in the thumbnail but a thin, vertical line with a gray area in its middle.
I started searching for solutions and found this thread. I tried reimporting the meta data which made it worse: all images in the gallery have been replaced with a line. I tried installing BMOExpo but it doesn’t seem to work with WordPress 4.0. I also tried deleting the gallery and creating a new one with the same images, didn’t work.
Any suggestions? I’m wondering if downgrading scroll gallery might work. Help would be so appreciated.
