In reply to: [Latest Post Shortcode] How to prevent clickable taxonomy in output? That’s great, thanks. That extra parameter is working perfectly.
Unfortunately, there seems to be a bug in this release. Under ‘Filter by taxonomy’ the ‘Taxonomy 2’ dropdown only has the option ‘any’, where previously there was a full list of all the available taxonomies.

In reply to: [Genesis Blocks] Limited to 2 columns unless category is ‘All’Thanks for that pointer; yes after a bit of experimentation I’ve found that it is indeed down to the number of posts.
It seems that you have to have at least as many posts as columns at the time you set-up the block.
So I’ve got an easy work around – creating some placeholder posts in order to set it up then delete them before the client goes in and adds real content.
It’s a quirky behaviour, though. Could you flag that up as a bug/feature request for a future release?
Thanks again,
Phil
Hi Sanjeev,
Your comment about SSL/HTTPS made me think that perhaps something went wrong when I moved the site from a staging server which isn’t https back to the live server which is. So I uninstalled the plugin completely and reinstalled it, then created a new API key.
The test email was delivered fine, so all good now.
Thanks for your help.
Hi,
Thanks for your reply and for your suggestion of using a separate account.

Hi,
Thanks again for your help. However I tried the tag and it’s returning an empty value:
[dynamichidden useripnr id:useridnr readonly “CF7_GET key=’_remote_ip’”]
I replaced the curly speech marks with ” and ‘ just to be sure. I also tried changing useripnr and useridnr around, as I’m not sure if the difference is intended.
Can you offer any other suggestions, please?
Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to respond to my question and for your suggested solution.
Unfortunately, the plugin, which I am using to save form data to the database, only looks at the form fields. It does not take account of the email tab.
I don’t think I can use any of those fields in the ‘form’ tab. Or am I misunderstanding this?

In reply to: [Contact Form DB] How do we demand Contact Form DB be returned?I agree that this is a superb plugin and would love to see it reinstated in the WordPress plugin directory.
Michael, are you open to offers of help in reinstating this plugin? I don’t know what the challenges might be, nor if I have the skills required, but if you’re willing to discuss it then please get in touch.

In reply to: [Contact Form DB] Changelog missing for 2.9.12I’d also like to say thanks for this great plugin and thank you galbaras for posting the text from the changelog.
So it’s correct to say that this release does not fix any security issues?

In reply to: How to add posts to a pageHi,
I’m trying to achieve the same result – to add recent posts to the bottom of my ‘static’ wordpress homepage.
I’ve created a separate template for the homepage and got all that working. I (optimistically) cut and pasted code from index.php under the code that displays the page content but am seeing nothing outputted.
Despite reading quite a lot about wordpress and the loop over the last few days, I suspect that I’m failing to understand something fundamental about the loop – or maybe there is something simple I’m leaving out?
Any help would be appreciated.
Philip
