In reply to: [Block Comment Spam Bots] Popularising this plugin – brainstorming ideasThe logo does not show up in the plugin. The image is missing. I can see the bounding box, and the little broken image icon in the top left corner. Following the image link results in a 404. Seems the ‘cellarweb-logo-03.png’ is not on my system.
Deleted the plugin and reinstalled, and the image is still not showing up.

In reply to: [Block Comment Spam Bots] Popularising this plugin – brainstorming ideasWhat are ‘Zon links’?
So interception wise FST-C does the same things as BCSB, but they do not interfere with each other?
If so, would it be fair to say that ‘FST-C’ is really ‘BCSB + comment form customisation’? Perhaps you could call it ‘ BCSB+’ to make it clearer?
As for using FST-C to modify the comment form, I’d re-code the template, so BCSB will do me just fine ??

In reply to: [Reveal IDs] Issue with ‘ Block Comment Spam Bots’ pluginHi Oliver, yep all fixed. I’m very happy!
So I can use FST-C along with BCSB? Don’t they do the same thing under the hood?

In reply to: [Block Comment Spam Bots] Minor issue: admin reply to comment didn’t workTested, and it’s perfect! Good work. Which leads me to my next question; why isn’t this plugin more popular? It seems ideal for the low-tech user. Install and forget.
I was looking at the copy on your website and plugin, and I was wondering if you’re open to suggestions? I hate the scourge of spam, an I want to help you in the fight against it.

In reply to: [Block Comment Spam Bots] Interaction with Reval IDs pluginThanks for looking into this. I’ll contact the creator of the Reveal IDs plugin and see if they will update it.
If they do not, or will not, is there a quick and dirty fix for their function that will make it work correctly? Do I just have to change or term or something, or is it more involved?

In reply to: [Block Comment Spam Bots] Interaction with Reval IDs pluginThanks for the explanation. I follow you. You are correct, the IDs are not normally shown, but the Reveal IDs plugin does show them.
With Reveal IDs active there is a box added to the end, in the last column. In my website Admin area, when looking at all the comments I get this;
image of reveal IDs plugin active
If I deactivate this plugin, and activate your plugin (Block Comment Spam Bots), it does as you say and adds a new box on the end, in the last column, just like the Reveal IDs plugin (but with a different value, the value you pointed out);
image of Block Comment Spam Bots plugin active
The issue is when both of them are active at the same time, and I get this;
image of both plugins active at the same time
It seems your plugin is showing up in the Reveal IDs’ little box too. The value seems to be the same if cut short. A duplicate. For some reason, the Reveal IDs plugin is pulling your value out of the database, or your plugin is over-writing the Reveal IDs’ value, or some other shenanigans.
Is there a way to correct this?

In reply to: [Featured Galleries] Adding Featured Gallery to Pinbin themeYou got it!
I was thinking one image at a time, with floating arrows.
To be more specific I really want the slide gallery to show up on single.php, so if you could sort that out that would be fantastic.
Pinbin displays posts in floating blocks, like ‘cards’, with a featured image at the top and an except. The layout is dynamic.
When you click on a ‘card’ it takes you to the single page. The problem is that the featured image is at the top of the post and is massive (takes up a lot of space). I thought it would be cool to have multiple images at the top instead of one. Basically acting as a gallery for that post.
Thanks for getting back to me on this.
