In reply to: Copy/Paste Oust the Line Breaks and Paragraphs WP 3.9.1Samual, on the other question. It doesn’t seem to make a difference on whether I use the “Paste as Text” button on my 3.9.1 site.

In reply to: Copy/Paste Oust the Line Breaks and Paragraphs WP 3.9.1Samual, Good Question. I went ahead and tried to copy that OuarkXpress 6.5 (2004) text into about every thing that I could copy text into, like Word, TextEdit, email, and News Edit Pro. They all recognized the pasted text as having line breaks…. But the only one that recognized the pasted text as individual paragraphs is a WordPress 3.8 website that I have not upgraded yet. On the WP 3.8 one I used the Plain Text pop-up… that works.

In reply to: "Keep Line Breaks" missing in 3.9.1We are having a similar problem at the newspaper I work for. When our editorial team copy/paste from their old version of Quark Express to WP 3.9.1 all the line breaks are removed making one big paragraph. I reproduced the problem in a clean install of 3.9.1 without any added themes or plugins… with the same results.
Before the upgrade, editorial would use the Plain text popup to paste and that would preserve the paragraphs.

In reply to: [Genesis Simple Sidebars] Post use Category SidebarHi Ron, Thanks for the suggestion. Is there a way to have the home page assigned to one of my special sidebars. That way I can keep my posts (articles) the default sidebar? All the post can keep the same sidebar but the Home Page is really the unique one. The theme that I am using is Studio Press’s NEWS Theme.

In reply to: [Genesis Simple Sidebars] Post use Category SidebarI am having a similar issue. I set the Category to a special sidebar. The category page receives the special sidebar but the post in that category still use the default sidebar.
Any suggestion?

In reply to: [Root Relative URLs] Facebook Share Not WorkingI had a similar issue with Facebook Commenting. I believe it has to do with Facebook now requiring Absolute links. When you go to “Post to Wall”, when you are making a comment on a blog or website, the URL on your wall gets sent to a Facebook 404 page because the relative link from the sites gets posted as relative to facebook.com instead of the site you are commenting on. Any ideas for a work around?
