In reply to: [Easy PayPal Events] Fatal ErrorAlso, after switching back to PHP 7.4, the emails from the plugin notifying me of a sale and the one to the purchaser actually were received for the two orders placed while I was still on PHP 8. It took a while, but it appears that PayPal must have been resending the information regarding successful payment back to the plug-in and eventually the information was logged in the plugin. The orders database even ended up recording the 2 sales.
My big concern is that PHP 7.4 is not going to be updated much after Nov. so I’m sure that I will be forced to move up to PHP 8, especially with the pending release of WordPress 6.1.
I need to know that your plugin will be maintained and continue working, especially since we paid for the Pro version.

In reply to: [Easy PayPal Events] Fatal ErrorOne other note – the test emails you can send from the plug-in worked fine while on PHP 8 Fast CGI. It was just the automated emails after a purchase that didn’t work.

In reply to: [Easy PayPal Events] Fatal ErrorUpdate –
While on PHP 8 Fast CGI, the plugin would accept orders and connect to PayPal correctly. What wasn’t working was the sending of the emails notifying us of the order and providing the purchaser their e-ticket. It also didn’t record the purchases in the database.
I was able to downgrade back to PHP 7.4 CGI and things are working again.
So, it appears that there is a problem with this plug in and PHP 8 Fast CGI. I hope this gets fixed soon so we can upgrade to the more current version of PHP.

In reply to: [Easy PayPal Events] Pro Plugin: limit total number of ticketsI would love to see this feature as well.
This may be a dumb question, but in the instructions for how diagnose the problem, one step says to edit the wp-config.php file to turn on script debugging. I assume that this is the wp-config.php file for the website where WPForms Lite is having issues?
Once I’ve turned on debugging, should I try to edit my form before looking at the error messages? Also, should I turn the script debugging off after testing?
Sorry for these basic questions, but this is new territory for me.
Thanks.
The forms themselves work fine. I just can’t successfully EDIT a form when using Safari. This is especially true for text boxes containing information I need to change such as the email addresses to send notifications to. It basically locks up then has to reload the page. Editing or creating a form works fine in Firefox, though.
The site is https://onevoiceindy.org. If you plan to try out one of the forms, please just use one of the contact forms, not the order form, since that will trigger other activities.
Thanks.
