Hi!

Thank you for the investigations. I should have responded sooner with how I fixed the issue. It appears that the way I inserted it into my header as part of the topbar within my theme was the issue. When I took it out of the topbar and instead used the settings to have it as a banner on all pages (therefore making it as its own topbar) that seemed to do the trick.

Thank you!! I forgot to check the Trash folder for the posts I thought I had deleted. That did the trick.

Thank you! I’ll be using it in a global content block, so I think making this change should work. I appreciate the prompt reply and the workaround.

I have a main topic “Racial Equity Resource Guide” that doesn’t link to anywhere…I’d like to have that be in place of “Select”. And then it would drop down the cateogories: Books, Movies and Documentaries, etc that would go to those specific pages. Is this possible?

Hi,

I have two things.

1. Should Poll Results tell the user the percentage of people who answered on each question? For instance, each question of our quiz has two visual choices, so I’d like for the results to show the percentage who made each choice. Is that what Poll Results should do? And if I doesn’t, is their an add-on that would do that?

2. Poll Results currently is only showing the results for the first question instead of ALL the questions (see the screenshot below). Can you help me fix this?

And of course when I went to take the screenshot, I’m showing no results.

That did the trick. Now I can edit the description and add the Buy now button. Thanks! I’m going to hop on with help in the morning and see if there is a setting we can change so the Timeout doesn’t happen. Thanks so much!

Also, one other thing. When I go in to the Product Post in wordpress and try to add a link to add the product to the cart in the big cartel store, I’m getting this error:

Hello again. So, we are now on a managed wordpress site with unlimited resources. Now, when I run the plugin I am getting this error:

Thanks for your help. We are moving hosting yet again to a Managed WordPress site. I think that the cpanel hosting just doesn’t have the resources for a wordpress site.

Maybe that will help with the import too. I’ll let you know.

Flushing the permalink did the trick. I am deactivating the plugin tonight, to see if the limits that the hosting company put on our site get removed in the morning. I think that will be the only way of knowing if your plug-in is the culprit. I honestly don’t know why it would be. It caused no problems on our old server.

Hi again, one more update for you.

So far I’ve been able to import 12 products. However, some of the products aren’t linking to a post page, instead I get a “page not found” error.

I do hope we can get the kinks worked out as when the importer is working, it’s importing all the right things and I really like that it brings in a featured image.

Hi Michael,

I wanted to give you an update. We’ve upgraded our hosting on GoDaddy to Deluxe Linux hosting. We were in classic hosting prior to this. I’m still not able to import all 58 products. I have gotten in 7 so far. And then it goes to an “oops this page is unavailable” page.

Also, our site has become super slow on the new hosting and the hosting people say it is because we have a plug-in that is improperly coded. Which I haven’t encountered before.

Anyway, any advice as always is welcome. And thanks for trying to help me figure this out.

Quick update: I was able to import 4 items, but it gave me this error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Apache Server at writerobinson.com Port 80

Any idea what that might be about? Do I need to increase the database space maybe? I can go check with the host help as well if that is the issue.
