I’m also looking for a possibility to open content in a lightbox but I already have a lightbox installed.
To be more specific: I have a lightGallery lightbox running for pictures out of the wp media gallery. This works fine. But now I like to ad vimeo files to the pictures.
There are “teaser” fotos for the films showing up in the gallery. But when I click on the Fotos the vimeo linked film should open _in_the_lightbox_ but not in a new window.
What is funny, when the lightbox is already opened by a picture (without linking to video content) and I start scrolling threw the fotos, the vimeo film also show up in the layer.
But when I click on them simpmly the vimeo page opens.
Question: is there something like a “class” to add to the link, so that the lightbox opens instead of a new site?

Hi Jeff, I’m quite sure it has something to do with my self-made theme, because if I choose another theme like twenty ten it works perfectly. Maybe you should give it a try to check if you have an issue with your theme aswell. I have the strange feeling it has something to do with my bullets css. But actually I really don’t know it.

you can customize your preferred theme if you go to:
wordpress>wp-content>plugins>jquery-colorbox>themes
In each themes folder you will find a file called colorbox.css
for this specific theme.
