I am going to wait until the next update which will hopefully rectify this issue. Every time the error throws, it notifies my clients, then I have to deal with that stuff as well.

Same here, every single install is throwing critical errors on this update. Worse still it is one of those plugins that notify the user (my clients) to update from the dashboard, which then means I have to spend my time fixing it up.

Yup, never thought I would say this, but beginning to deactivate this plugin across 100’s of sites I manage, been a slow progression over the past 6 months with this plugin and with mistakes like this, still throwing fatal errors after the upgrade to 14.0.1

I am also hoping they do not do this again, upgrading 100+ sites just to remove an intrusive silly banner for one day, is not how I like to spend Thanksgiving!

Never heard of a plugin update like this before!

@timmydcrawford @psealock I\tha ks for updates, I will wait until things settle down here before enabling it again, cost me about a week of my life – I won’t risk that again.

Perhaps, when your plugin deactivates another plugin automatically, you might actually import the AMP Settings. Also, many people use Yoast Glue for AMP (including 100+ of my clients) so you need to think more about what you do before you do it. End results, deleting your plugin from all my clients.
