In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] FIle list display issue with v. 3.9.9?Hi, here it is again – https://prntscr.com/laduf1
What happens is that the all files list has all the submenus open, but the overflow is hidden behind the file names. Just a thin white edge shows.
The page is private but let me see if I can create a page on the dev site to let you access it. I’ll send you the link shortly.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] FIle list display issue with v. 3.9.9?Hi, they suggested that I remove all custom CSS code from the site. I did that and now I’m back to the original issue of the drop down menus hiding behind the file names:
I did not find any references to btn-groups in any CSS files on the theme.
Help?

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] FIle list display issue with v. 3.9.9?Hi, to follow-up on this I have contacted the Nexus Themes support and they directed me back to you saying:
“It would not be very practical for us to have to update the manual CSS each time we update the theme or when the plugin is updated. The proper way would be if the plugin would control their own styling. I would like to ask you to contact the plugin author to think of a solution since they control the output of their plugin.”Do you have any suggestions as to custom CSS to make this work? Right now I have this code in there to prevent the sub-menus from being hidden by the file name containers. Changing the overflow parameters did not help, except for “scroll” which was not practical due to the small size of the windows:
.mdocs-container td
{
overflow: inherit !important;
}Any help would be welcome.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] FIle list display issue with v. 3.9.9?Hi, this effect happened when I update my theme to the latest version (Nexus themes). Rolling back to the previous version fixed this.
Sorry for the ticket, it’s not your plugin’s fault!
Thanks.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] “All files” list stopped workingHi, no worries, I kept trying and now it started to function as before…the buttons from the page editor are a nice touch!
I’m sorry about venting, but your plugin is at the core of my website, if it fails, the whole site’s functionality goes with it.Thanks for your efforts!

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] “All files” list stopped workingVery frustrating…still does not display all files and Box preview doesn’t work. Opening a file folder results in files pushed to the bottom of the folder tree, lucky I read about this in another post, otherwise I would have been looking for where the files went..
At this point I’m rolling back to v. 3.9.5 which worked perfectly!

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] “All files” list stopped workingHi, tried it, unfortunately it did not change anything. Is there another syntax to restore the all files listing on a page?

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] After last update box view don’t workI have the same issue.
PeterHi,
I did the conflict test with the plugins and it was the Ultimate Member plugin that causes this. Unfortunately I could not do a theme test, because I need a theme with a front-end editor to test with.
Also, my theme worked fine with the UM plugin until just before 2.011. This is not a critical issue, it does not break the site or interfere with the editing, it is just a nuisance and an aesthetics issue.
Any other ideas?Peter
Here is the link to the Docs page for this process:

Hello, I finally managed to install successfully version 2.0.8 and found the page access settings on the bottom of the edit page. Phew! Thanks.
S’all good man! (for now)
P.S. As a user of the free core plugin I still can’t access anything on your website for submitting a support ticket. Oh well…
I had the same experience. There is a bit of an additional awkward little process you have to run. After you try to activate the plugin and it deactivates automatically, there is a message that pops up on top of the page to click “Run” on an “Upgrade” page. After that process completes, the plugin seems to work OK. Oh, and you will also have to update all the 1.* versions of any extensions, probably before you update the core plugin…
I’m not a tech, just flying by the seat of my pants. If you have not purchased any of the paid extensions, you will not be able to access any forms on the suggested page on the their site: https://ultimatemember.com/contact/sales/ to ad your issue. I tried…
2.0.* has been a problem-ridden upgrade, which is unfortunate, because I really love and need this plugin.
Hi, I’m sorry to be so obtuse, but that page only asks for pre-purchase questions and specifies that it is not for support issues. There is no place on that page for me to leave a comment or a support question. When you finally navigate to support all you get is this message:
“This page is for paid customers who have purchased the bundle or an extension and have a subscription or active license to submit support tickets for core plugin and/or extensions. If you are a paying customer please login to our website to submit a support ticket.”
How do you get “a subscription or active license” if you don’t need any of the paid extensions?
Thank you. Peter
