Just to make things more clear on version numbers for Elementor Free vs Pro:
I’m currently running Elementor version 3.0.2 and Elementor Pro version 2.10.3, which works fine. For me problems arise when updating Pro 2.10.3 to 3.0.1.I guess the devs at Elementor are working long hours to fix this ASAP… ??

Thx @fwkart
I already rolled back to pro version 2.10.3, which works fine here.
This is one of those days, where you are glad you test updates on a staging site – and still backup everything beforehand ??
For me things go haywire when updating Elementor Pro from Version 2.10.3 to 3.0.1.
I missed Version 3.0.0, so cannot confirm that problems started there.
Have tried the above mentioned solutions, but they don’t fix the problems.
Hi arline2016
Thanks for your input, appreciate it.
I’ve tried changing settings as you mention. No luck.
Since I don’t have the time for further troubleshooting, I chose to uninstall FEP. So now instead of hitting FEP’s Exit button, I hit Esc and then Elementor’s Back to admin. No big deal. And anyway, Elementor now allows you to go with a Dark UI (which was one of the reasons, I chose FEP). So that’s it. One less plugin to deal with. Thanks for the ride FEP ??
Best regards
PeterHi
I’m not really super techy, so I don’t know how to do, what you suggest. Do you have any documentation as how to do it?
Hi WebMat
The problem remain the same, sadly.
I’ve tried the following:
– changed all options in FEP, and then also back again
– turned off all plugins for caching, security and CDN
– flushed DNS in Windows 10
– tried Firefox instead of ChromeSame problem.
If anybody have any suggestions, they will be highly appreciated.
Best regards
PeterHi Remzi
Thank you for your willingness to help.
I’m very busy at the moment rebuilding my site almost from scratch. My hosting provider moved my domain from a server in Germany to a new datacenter here in Denmark, and something has been a little off on my site since that. At the same time I made some risky changes on a staging site, only it was actually the real site by mistake. And my backups was from the older german server…
I’ve chosen to rebuild my site from (almost) scratch to get a completely clean and fresh install. So right now there is nothing you can look at. And I don’t know yet if the rebuild will need anything. Hopefully not.
But thanks again. I’ll get back to you, if the same issues persists on the new site.
Kind regards
PeterPS: Did you know that WP from version 5.2.1 actually backported patch from jQuery 3.40? Though when you check jQuery version in file, it stills says 1.12.xx

I just looked at the header-text-jump problem again-again (for the 100’th time). In Elementor I tried to uncheck the option to stretch the header to full width (which uses JS). And that finally did the trick: No more jumps! YAY!
Check link below to see why is was so frustrating not to score 100 in the Best Practices audit. Thank you very much for your part in this result. It was not possible without your plugin.
Best of luck with the plugin ??
Kind regards

Thanks for getting back so quickly.
It’s a little sensitive. Can you give me an email address, where I can email the url to you privately instead? Thanks for your understanding.
Kind regards
Peter
