The whole problem was caused by the PublishPress Capabilities plugin. I did a reset of the plugin settings to wordpress defaults and everything is ok.

Can you please provide more information? It was tested on a clean installation of wordpress without added plugins and on basic themes.

The plugin was created for easy insertion of videos into a post or forum (wp-foro). It is not for bulk adding videos. I personally use https://www.wp-script.com/doc/installation/ for bulk posting. It’s a paid plugin, but it works great.

I’m sorry you have problems with the plugin. The plugin works by inserting shortdcode into the editor. Include the name of the site and url of the video. Nothing more, nothing less.

This plugin has no admin menu. It’s simple. You must use the shorcode in the editor or the PVE icon in the classic editor.

You will use Shortcode by typing the site name and adding the url to the video. Examples:
