Thanks a lot for the advice! Today I managed to connect MS Access with my WordPress database through the free MySQL ODBC Connector 8.0. It works like a charm and doesn’t require anything else. Thank you, Frank
mirekkaz – I’d like to know if you successfully accessed your WordPress database with Access through ODBC? If yes, could you please share the ODBC driver and if possible also your connection code? Thank you – Frank

In reply to: [Customer Reviews for WooCommerce] Still spam reviews despite recaptcha v2reCaptcha v2 really doesn’t help at all and I don’t want to install another plugin. reCaptcha v3 support would be great.
Too bad that I couldn’t solve this error with Updraft. I didn’t want to, but now I have to purchase another plugin. Frank

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Get selected variation ID for php queryOk, thank you! I’ll reach out to the other forums then. Thanks a lot. Frank
My hosting company responded: Yes, you can deactivate the proxy. Please be advised that the proxy mode is required from php 7.3 as FastCGI is deployed here.
To me that means I cannot deactivate the proxy without causing problems, thus I cannot use Updraft anymore (at least not the restore backup feature)?
thanks, Frank
Ok, let’s see what my provider says. Frank

In reply to: [WooCommerce] remove colon in variations attributeSuper! That works perfectly! Thanks for helping. Just in case, the file is in
wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/cart/I just followed the instructions for that one file, and apparently it’s sufficient that the change is also adopted in checkout.
Thanks again, Frank
Hi Chetna,
thanks a lot for your willingness to look into the problem. As it was very urgent I had to move to another plugin which does the task. So for me, the problem is solved.
As I said, the issue is that customers do not have to pay the fee anymore, even though it’s listed during checkout.
Best, Frank
When I uncheck both boxes, the plugin will not calculate the PayPal fee correctly (e.g. for an amount of 50 EUR, it will then calculate a 1,40 EUR fee; however 2,49% + 0,35 EUR should make 1,60 EUR). This is why I left the boxes checked, because then the fee is 1,60 EUR.

Hi there,
no, the paypay fee is always calculated if a user wants to pay through PP. However the fee contains VAT (tax) which is not correct. You see that in the backend order page: https://snipboard.io/pmA7Es.jpg
This is the plugins setup: https://snipboard.io/L2h8ZE.jpg
The tax class is set to 0 tax. However this is ignored by the plugin – as you see in the above screenshot, the fee contains VAT.Thanks for help with this.
