I see the WordPress saying in my language, Italian that a fatal error occur and an email is sent by WordPress to login back to WordPress in the case your plugin broke all WordPress access. Fortunately I still be able to navigate my website and the string is not removed. It cause a fatal WordPress error. Just WordPress show me the string that alert a fatal error has been generated and I get the email to resume WordPress. The string that I remove are not removed.

    Sure I use latest version.

    @ionutn thanks for the answer.
I tried again to delete the wp- from the field in the cache tab, Bypass Page cache when these cookies are present in the request packet. If I remove from there I get WordPress fatal error when saving and WordPress send me an email saying your plugin generated a fatal error.

Am I removing the wp- string in the wrong place?

I hope as you the plugin team can reply to you.
The reason of my messages here is to let you explain better as I saw this topic has without any reply since different days.

Still don’t understand if you talk about the wp-config.php file of WordPress located at the root of WordPress and still not imagine how this file can be erased in his content. I never seen such issue before and also if I’m using the super-cache plugin I’m not facing this.

I believe that for help you the team should have info on how to reproduce the issue, if not they may be not able to help you. It looks a strange situation the one discussed here.

Best luck to get this answered and resolved.
I hope now this topic has more useful info for who read it.

Thank you for your kind reply!
I hope the plugin team can help you answering also to you ??

    Thanks for the answer.
The wp-config.php is the core php file located in the root folder of your WordPress installation?

Looks strange to me that a plugin can edit this file.

but the reason why i report this as a bug is that since i deactivated the plugin by renaming the folder and uploaded a correct wp-config

I never seen such issue but you said you renamed the plugin folder to deactivate the plugin?
You uploaded the correct wp-config from where, a backup?

The wp-config.php is not the core configuration WordPress file with also all database configuration? WordPress cannot work if this file is empty.

The wp-config fail to load at different level, sometimes i found it half empty, sometimes i find it with only this line in it:

define(‘WP_CACHE’, true); // Added by WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache

    Maybe I’m confused.
The reason why you read my reply is because I see this topic has not received yet a reply from the plugin team and this since 2 days from his creation.

The first post has not many info so maybe for that reason the topic is also missing replies, I don’t know.
My intent is just to help you to get support ??

Hi, do you still face the issue or was you able to resolve?
The plugin has been updated in that days.

I hope your issue is resolved.
I’m not part of the plugin team, I’m just a WordPress user.

Hi, I’m just a WordPress user, I’m not part of the plugin team.
Have you checked your server error logs? What they have to say?

It looks strange to me the cache plugin can broke the WordPress wp-config.php , how did you know is that file broken?

Deactivate the cache plugin resolve the issue you are facing?

Hi, I’m just a WordPress user and I’m not part of the plugin team.
I don’t think the cache plugin can forbid access to particular countries.
Are you able to reproduce the issue with the cache plugin active and see the issue resolved with the cache plugin deactivated? Maybe the issue you are facing can be something else, not the cache plugin. It looks strange the cause can be the cache plugin.

You need maybe test, check server error log, try to reproduce and better understand the issue.

I have few error that is right. A plugin try to save some picture in a server folder that I forbit to be written so it’s all fine. Also some other errors are not relevant but your plugin looks nice but invasive, on my opinion with re red button on the admin bar.

I don’t like to see the red Stop Bot button inserted in the admin bar also the site health red button.

That’s all, is just a feedback if you could not help on hiding them.

Understood, thank you for the fast and kind reply. ??????

This plugin is not updated since long time, using old code can be also a security risk. I suggest to try to switch to a more updated and maintained plugin. I see you are still using this plugin that is 2 years old or more since last update. You can maybe try to look into WordPress plugin directory, I’m finding well with loading page

I migrated since long time to Loading Page due this plugin was no more updated.

Hi and thanks for the reply that unfortunately doesn’t help me much.

WP-Optimize is compatible with most WordPress plugins, including cookie consent solutions like Complianz.

This topic is reporting an issue with your plugin and Compilanz plugin cookie placeholder so there is a compatibility issue caused by your minify function that I want to use but, if active create website issues.

First, try unchecking “Enable minification of JavaScript files” and “Enable merging of JavaScript files” in the WP-Optimize Minify settings and check if the issue is resolved.

No, this is not helping. I have to disable Process JavaScript files
I tried to manually exclude some js files but as I don’t know with one are the correct one… still see issues even when Enable merging of JavaScript files is disabled.

What I’m now testing is inserting the following string in the exclusion:
    wp-content/plugins/complianz-gdpr/*

This seems to resolve the issue so, your plugin has compatibility issue with Compilanz.
