  • computerpeach, and anyone else having problems with the ourtodo plugin–if you open the plugin in the built in plugin editor and change the “edit.php” by $otd_location (it’s near the top) to “tools.php”… you should see the plugin start working again. I was having the same problem until someone instructed me to make this change.

It’d be awesome if this could be built into WordPress in future builds, but it’s great to get the plugin working again. ??

I forgot to mention this: I tried using the feedwordpress plugin earlier this afternoon, and kept getting a weird error upon “successfully” adding in the Atom feed (the message says the feed’s been adding, but it doesn’t actually add). I’m trying said plugin again, and here’s what pops up:

WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'ORDER BY link_name' at line 1]
    SELECT * FROM wp_links WHERE link_visible = 'Y' AND link_category = ORDER BY link_name

I’m guessing the link_category is missing, but I can’t seem to find this string of code in any of the feedwordpress php files. Nor is it in the RSS or import files, as far as I could tell. Has anyone seen this before? I feel like I’m so close to kicking Atom’s stupid feed-y butt. ??
