I have a page where the final rankings of users are shown. These rankings are associated to an old league which is finished (euro 2021).
Now the same users are making predictions for the new Qatar 2022 tournament. When a prediction is made for this tournament, the predictions column for that user is showing the exact number of predictions done. However, if you visit the rankings page of the euro 2021, you will see that predictions are accumulated, meaning the predictions for that tournament and for the new are added and shown.

just one last comment. It looks like the number of predictions of a player is not segregated per league or ranking. I have all my predictions from old league and just one from the new league. The total number of predictions from both leagues shows in the old league ranking and only prediction 1 (which is correct) shows in the ranking page of the new league.
Is it possible to have the predictions per league and not summed in the old league ranking page?

I created a new page with shortcode [fp-ranking ranking=2 num=100] where the ID=2 is the ranking ID of the custom ranking I created before.

Everything works ok. Thanx for the suggestion.

I have already done that, I have assigned the matches of the new league to a new custom ranking, however nothing has changed predictions and scores from old league are still appearing even though on the scoreboard page I am selecting the new league.
(extra question: I want to hide completely the old league from appearing on the dropdown, I can do this with custom CSS but shouldn’t this be possible from the backend like hide league?)

Ok I see, I am pretty sure I have done this way in the last Russia Mundial, however 3 years older and dumber, I started editing the teams in the admin Team page, not in the admin matches page.
Does it make sense to develop further and let the admin to have the option while editing teams in the admin teams page, to choose with a drop-down that this team is the group A winner or runner-up and so on ?
I believe it would make it simpler for the admins and of course help them avoid what i have started doing (i.e. edit the group a winner and make it Italy).

I am willing to help to make this once available for my purposes but for everyone too, that is trying to make translations to custom tabs.

However just to make sure what is actually needed right now is to be able to insert all these data types in the WPML translation page where currently one is limited to pure simple text with no options to insert markup, shortcodes, etc.
In the product editing page (for the default language) custom tabs text allows for all data types to be processed, this is not possible in the WPML translation page.

Please let me know what you need from my side.

thanx for the reply. I have seen Weglot, but it is not my cup of tea. Moreover, I have already paid for the best translation plugin and not willing to move to another solution.

is there any update on the WPML issue?
What’s the use of such a plugin if it does not allow you to translate to other languages?

I have seen threads related to translations and WPML issues specifically and they are going on for more than 2 years. Do you have any plans to integrate with WPML? This is a must and I cannot wait anymore.

Please consider posting here an example like the following and/or additional contributing code that will assist the wpml-config.xml below:

The above obviously is not working for me, but maybe this can be used as the basis for something functional. My target is to be able to use “visual” (rich text) editor and not “line”.

to my understanding the problem is that custom tabs are edited in the backend with the use of an html editor, however WPML is not configured (or fully integrated) to use HTML editor and is giving the user the only option to use text editor, which of course rejects all kinds of markup or shortcodes. For example if in the translated field I use blah blah blah then in the fronted markup is treated like text and therefore printed.

I am almost certain that if WPML allows to use HTML in the custom tabs TOO (it does for the description and other fields) then all issues are history. Hence this is what everyone (i guess) is expecting for full integration which is not there yet (at least according to @yikesitskevin and WPML).

Now the question is, is there any way (possibly WPML XML configuration) that will allow custom tabs text fields to support HTML ? To my understanding this is the easiest fix for the moment.

please check the 5th tab in both Greek and English. The Greek text in the 5th tab contains also <br>, while in the English this is completely removed.

I am posting here also the text in the translation field of the custom tab:

then switch to english and check the second tab and the one called brochure (this one contains <br /> markup that is not compiled)/

The second tab contains “easy tables” plugin shortcodes. These are not processed at all. However if the translation field was a text field then i suppose the markup would be processed normally.

when should we expect WPML integration? Tabs are not displaying nice at all when markup and shortcodes are used.
