Hi Doug,
Unfortunately, this is a side effect of a big number of updates to your site.
Could you clarify what may push a lot of updates at once?
We’ve seen similar issues with dropshipping plugins that push a lot of updates all at once. They tend to clog up the Sync queue and result in many updates all at once. In order to provide functionality, Jetpack syncs that information, and the requests you are seeing are due to that process. There isn’t a way to disable Sync and keep using Jetpack.?We might suggest an alternative but it depends on the reason why your site updates so frequently.
Could you clarify how that affects the checkout process for your customers?
Thanks!
Hey Adam,
Could you reach out to your host and check with them if they can share any related logs so that we can have a deeper look?
I made a modification to the connection configuration on our end. Could you try to activate and connect Jetpack again? Please let us know how it goes.
Thank you!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Jetpack VideoPress] H5P & VideopressHey there,
VideoPress doesn’t support the H5P file format at this point. The H5P videos are conceived as presentation files. Since they may not just be straight video files, they cannot get uploaded to Jetpack’s VideoPress. This is, in a nutshell, the reason why VideoPress doesn’t support this file format.
I hope that the above helps. If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to let us know!

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Getting 403 errors when I clicked Test Cache buttonHey David,
The loopback request issues in conjunction with the 403 errors most likely indicate that your webserver configuration prevents internal requests. A misconfiguration of?BasicAuth?is one of the most common ones. I would recommend that you check that with your host.
Other possible reasons could be:- Misconfiguration of internal DNS.
- Coming soon or maintenance mode plugins. Do you have such a plugin activated?
- Security plugins that blocking internal requests. If you have a security plugin active, please deactivate it temporarily and try again.
I hope that the above helps.
Hey @lawriem1,
The latest update changes the Jetpack carousel. All the images are just shown in a line, next to each other. Deactivated Jetpack Boost and and back to normal.
I have just tested Jetpack carousel with the latest version of Jetpack and Jetpack Boost, and it worked correctly for me.
I suspect that your theme or another plugin may be interfering here.
Health Check & Troubleshoot
The easiest way to troubleshoot is by installing a plugin called Health Check & Troubleshoot. This plugin allows you to see how the site behaves with specific plugins or themes enabled without making any changes to your live site.
Please follow the steps below:
1) Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshoot plugin from the Plugins page.
2) Enable the Troubleshooting Mode from this plugin and a default WordPress theme. Make sure the Jetpack plugin and Jetpack Boost is active.
3) Check the live site and see how the carousel behaves.
4) If the carousel is working correctly, start enabling other plugins one by one. At each step check if the carousel works correctly.
5) Do the same with the theme by enabling the theme you want to use. Please note that all these actions will not be noticed by your site visitors, so there is nothing to worry about.
This way, we can see if there is a conflict between the theme or some plugins you are using. If the issue persists in the troubleshooting mode (that is with only Jetpack and Jetpack Boost enabled and a default theme active) please reach out back to us.
In that case, please post your site URL here so that we can have a look. If the gallery is not on your home page, please share a link to the page where we can test it.
If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.
Thanks!

Hey @seoderudaf,
It has been a few days since we have not heard from you. Did you have a chance to contact your host?
I have examined your site again with our rate limit test, and it shows
Server Response: 406 Not Acceptable
– you can share this information with your host along with the IPs addresses that we need them to allow (see the previous reply from us).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Jetpack Search] Search based on titles only?Hey Rolf!
is it possible to limit search results based on titles only, so basically ignoring the content?
I have reached out to our developers with this question. As soon as we’ve heard back from them we’ll be in touch with an update.
In the meantime, could you clarify if you are trying to modify the search query or you would only like to index your post titles?
Are there any particular reasons you want to ignore the post content?
Hey @enmuci,

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Cookie check failedHello Phil,
I am seeing:
Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at wss://public-api.wordpress.com/pinghub/wpcom/me/newest-note-data. rest-proxy:16:5485 Uncaught (in promise) ApiError: Cookie check failed (Status 403)
I also reexamined your site’s connection with our https://ratelimit.rudyfaile.com/ tool. This tool shows how the XML-RPC requests are handled by your server. We should get 50 x “200 OK”; instead there is a number of
403 Forbidden
server responses.The HTTP?
403 Forbidden
?response status code indicates that the server understands the request but refuses to authorize it.
?
I understand that you have already checked that any security plugin blocks our requests. Is that correct? As the next step, try contacting your hosting provider and asking them to check their security logs to see if they are blocking or otherwise limiting incoming and outgoing connections over XML-RPC.
Please ask them to allowlist the IP addresses listed here. Note that these IP addresses could change (or more could be added) at any time, which could break your connection to Jetpack. For this reason, we actually discourage allowing specific IPs, although, with some hosts, it may be the only option.?
Hey @manek43509,
Classic Block isn’t working for me at all, so that’s no good either. I may have to find another gallery plugin to use, then.
Could you check that you have Tiled Galleries activated? This is not required by the Tiled Gallery?block but needs to be activated if you want to use tiled galleries with the Classic block.
You can check that at https://www.manek.org.uk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack_modules
See the screenshot: https://d.pr/i/h8yupR
I have also reported your feature request in the Jetpack GitHub repository.Forum: Plugins
