Hi @cv888,
I was able to replicate the problem with the Image Compare block on my test site. The problem appears if there is a JavaScript-powered lazy loading enabled. Note that lazy loading of images with JavaScript is now deprecated since modern browsers handle that with the browser built-in methods.
I suspect that, in your case, the Powerkit plugin enables image lazy loading. Does the issue persist when you disable Powerkit?
If the issue persists, you may want to make a full plugin conflict check.
- Temporarily activate a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One.
- Temporarily deactivate all plugins except Jetpack, and clear your browser’s cache.
- Then, try again. If images show correctly on the live post, then you know another plugin is conflicting here.
- You can reactivate plugins one by one, checking after each one to discover which plugin is causing the problem.
- You can leave that plugin deactivated and/or contact whoever makes that plugin for help resolving the issue it’s causing.
You can see these troubleshooting steps in detail in our Troubleshooting manually guide.
I hope that the above points you in the right direction. Let us know if you have further questions.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Jetpack VaultPress Backup] 10GB site can i get more?Hi again,
If your site is 10GB, our system will require 20GB for 2 days of storage. That said, since our minimum storage retention is 7 days, your site will require an add-on that assures 70GB (7 x 10GB).
In practice this means:
- Jetpack VaultPress Backup base plan 10GB – base plan is always required
- 100GB storage add-on. Storage add-ons are billed monthly and the 100GB option is currently at USD$5.95 per month.
I hope this clears things up, but please let me know if you have any further questions!
Hi there,
No links anywhere to pay on my sites. In the email, it gives me a link to pay but then I am taking to a big “COMING SOON” splash screen. Great, very helpful.
I’m sorry to hear about your bad experience.
Please make sure to be logged in to your WordPress.com account in your default browser. If you have multiple accounts, make sure it’s the one you use for Blaze. Click the payment link again. It should no longer show the Coming Soon page.
If the issue persists, please contact us privately via this?contact form. Please include a link to this thread.
I hope that the above points you in the right direction.

In reply to: [Jetpack Boost - Website Speed, Performance and Critical CSS] problema pluginHi there,
I will try to reinstall the plugin in the next few days
Could you tell me if you were able to reinstall the Jetpack Boost and check for JavaScript errors in your browser console?
If you’re comfortable sharing, the console logs captured when the issue occurs will help diagnose the issue more accurately. Also, please let us know if you’re using any caching mechanisms, as it could also be contributing to the problem.
Please reply to this thread with the aforementioned details, and we’ll proceed from there.
Thank you!
Hey there,
we’ve noticed the numbers have gone out of sync since we set up a staging site in April 2023. Would be great if you can help us restore the past numbers.
The staging site is stg.rakuten.today
I checked your staging site, and it does not have any stats records. At this point, nothing makes me suspect that setting up a staging site affected your stats.
I also had a look at your stats history, and it seems stable from April 2023 till now. Would you agree? On the other hand, there is indeed a drop between March 2023 and before and past April 2023.
Do you see any other reasons your traffic might have dropped at that time? I see that you have a GDPR plugin installed. I wonder if that’s related. Some GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent plugins can prevent page visit tracking until user consent is provided. That is known to reduce recorded visits.?
I hope this clears things up, but please let me know if you have any further questions!
Hi there,
It sounds like you’re asking about the Jetpack Boost plugin and a button that appears when you activate it. To better assist you, could you clarify if “inshare” refers to a social sharing button or some other kind of button that appears on your post pages? If possible, please provide a bit more detail or a screenshot so I can understand exactly what you’re referring to.
Once I have more information, I’ll be better equipped to help you with your request.
Looking forward to your reply.
Hi there @nahbweb,
I understand that you add the subscription form as w classic widget, right? I have just tested the setup with Classic Editor + Classic Widgets and the subscription form added both as a shortcode:
[jetpack_subscription_form title="LET ME KNOW ABOUT NEW POSTS ??" subscribe_text="Enter your email address to subscribe to this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email." subscribe_button="Subscribe" show_subscribers_total="1"]
or the Blog Subscriptions (Jetpack) widget. I tested with the latests 12.9.3 version of Jetpack as well as 12.9.1. Both worked fine.
At this point, I do not see any connection problems on your site. You also mentioned that you deactivated all plugins except Jetpack and the issue persists, right?
In that case, please try to temporarily switch your theme to Twenty Twenty-One and test again.
If you still get the message: “Oops! There was an error when subscribing. Please try again.”?– could you check your browser’s console for any errors. If you see some, please share here. ?Here is?a guide on using your browser to diagnose JavaScript errors in case you?need it.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack Sync ErrorHi there,
Could you start by reinstalling and reconnecting Jetpack – You can read more in our Reconnect and reinstall?Jetpack guide.
I that does not help, I would recommend reaching out to your host and investigate with them intermittent errors for requests from our IPs.
Our requests look like the following:
- File:?{your site domain}/xmlrpc.php?
- User-agent header: Jetpack by WordPress.com
- IPs: https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-add-jetpack-ips-allowlist/
Please ask your host to allowlist the IP addresses listed above.
Note that these IP addresses could change (or more could be added) at any time, which could break your connection to Jetpack. For this reason, we actually discourage allowing specific IPs, although with some hosts it may be the only option.
Let us know how that goes.
Hey there,
I will close this thread now. @frscoob, could you please open a new one and share more information about what happens in your case? Thank you!
