In my case, I had an invalid address in the ’email from’ field.
Emails are now be sent out correctly.

I am not receiving any emails either

Several hours later now and I am suddenly connecting to Jetpack! I suppose the change I made to php.ini did not take immediate effect.

I also noticed that when I try to update Jetpack on any of my sites the install hangs and goes on forever or times out. I assume this is related to the above issue so not starting new thread.

Thanks for replying quickly. I passed along the aboove information to Bluehost. They directed me to uncomment the curl module in php.ini in my root directory. I did so, but am still receiving the same error message.
That’s all the help I got from them.

I too, reverted to 2.0.5 and it worked

I’m having the same issue. Fresh WP install with no other plugins installed.

It is working after updating to latest version of plugin.

I traced the problem to the update between version 2.0.66.37 and 2.0.71.
Everything works fine until that update. Hopefully that helps.

I needed to clear my cache and now it works

I ran CCleaner which cleared my cache and now it works.
