In reply to: [WooCommerce] Critical error: WooCommerceA site I manage that has WC installed, but not yet live, also had issues with the 4.9.0 update. Gave a critical error (on just the plugin) and refused to reactivate WC.
It seems that reactivating it manually got past whatever the issue was – a glitch on reactivation?

In reply to: [wpForo Forum] wpforo 1.8.2 New Topic errorThis looks like it may have been that that forum tables weren’t fully updated immediately after the update.
A message came up later in the admin backend about this, then when it loaded the database info in the plugin it said everything working, and has seemed to allow my custom user to create new topics since then.
Apols if this was a random glitch, but seems to have fixed itself at this moment in time.

In reply to: [wpForo Forum] wpforo 1.8.2 New Topic errorAn update – this is only an issue with a user who has a custom user group (just to limit access to the forum so they cannot see two particular boards on the forum). Normal (contributor level) users appear to be ok. Very odd as this was working in v 1.7.7 with no issues.
I also use Ultimate Member (up to date – v2.1.6).

In reply to: [Analyticator] Google Analytics “Critical Error on your website”Many thanks Vali – that also stops the fatal error on mine too.
But agree, it would be good to get a fix on this as clearly the error is still underlying, just your fix stops it causing obvious havoc!
Just moved a step forward in figuring this out!
Single-post-wrap (in font-sizes.min.css) appears to be the offending item that causes the font size to increase unexpectedly.
But, without knowing much about that, it sounds like the sort of thing that will affect a lot of other items in the site if I change it…?

Many thanks for helping me find some of the unfathomable internals of the UM plugin CSS ??
I’m still rather struggling as although I’ve sussed that it’s an errant <p> tag on the bits of the profile that have text too large (mostly custom fields I’ve created in the profile form – notably it seems to be the textarea ones that are affected, anything with a dropdown box to choose from isn’t), I’m not yet able to discern which exact bit of CSS is ultimately responsible for the display. There’s a lot of text-size CSS entries each of which may or may not be relevant when looking in the inspector!
Or what creates that errant <p> tag in the first place. Which I assume is what I really need to change – and if it involves changing plugin files I guess they have to be done under a child theme to avoid losing the changes at every plugin update?
Re profile tabs – I’ve gained a new tab by adding bbpress forums, bbPressStylePack and the bbpress-UM link plugin. Not something I’ve created myself I’m afraid, although I did come across this https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/69-how-do-i-add-my-extra-tabs-to-user-profiles in my search for how to change the colour of the background and text on the tabs (separate thread). Not sure how much use it is for you, but just in case it helps…

In reply to: [bbp style pack] Background New Topic textbox colourThat fixed it – many thanks!
Many thanks both – and a late reply is always better than no reply ??
Updated to 5.5, hadn’t realised I’d need to do that – assumed that I’d just be on the latest version that my hosting provider would support and it would be up to them to update that…
Now updated successfully – thanks!
So… 3 weeks and no reply.
I take it wordfence doesn’t do support then…
