Really sorry for the delay, haven’t recieved an update email.

Actually letting people design what they want is not my goal. And unfortunatelly simply searching around didn’t help me that is why i came here for help. Probably my english do not help.
Still, my goal is to have … let’s say “stamps”, that appear on tshirts, mugs, caps etc. The end product is the the mechandise not the stamp. The stamp/design is the axis. I am not sure that my english help me here… That is why i posted the link above. Off course this website is custom made, i just thought that a ready solution could exist in woocommerce couse i am not a full time coder.

anyway, if any has any suggestions. Else i belive a developer would be the best option.

Hi Tomek,

If i understood correct, you have to substract (minimum weight * cost of extra weight). It is kinda strange method but the calculation works correctly.
Unfortunatelly i wasn’t able to find the example you posted before opening this topic

Hi Simon! thank you so very much for your time and findings. At last a solution. Although there is no common sense behind woocommerce’s team decision to use edit_others_pages capability, i wont waste any more minute on this. I already changed it to edit_pages. I ll deal with it in the future to be honest.
One last thing if i may, does this mean that this button is not a feature of your plugin???

Please select capabilities for Shop Manger and disable Edit Others for Pages. Sorting button then disappears.
Also i get these Invalid capabilies, if it is of any help
Invalid Capabilities:
delete badge
delete product
delete shop coupon
delete shop order
edit badge
edit product
edit shop coupon
edit shop order
read badge
read product
read shop coupon
read shop order

Hello Simon and thank you for your answer.
My mistake that i didn’t clarify. I was reffering to the backend Sorting button in the horizontal menu at products page, not the drop down in the front end.
Still i can’t find such capability in publishpress or anything similar in that matter. Also i can’t separate the plugin in “Type-Specific Capabilities” box cause it is not present.
Any advise?
i could do that manually i guess following your suggestions. (i mean from within the code)

I bumped into Nested Category plugin after posting this. It seems to be exactly what i asked for. Price could be a matter. Definitely checking it out.

so you mean that if there is no plugin for the carriers i want, i can’t add them? cause at least one of them is pretty unknown
on the other hand ‘table rate’ for example acts as 1 carrier. i can name it ‘carrier 1’, customize all weight and load parameters and add it to a shipping method. but if i need to add a second carrier i am out of options…
i still feel that i am misunderstanding something cause as i imagine this is a feature many people should want.
on the other hand could i be that dumb ….. ?
