Confirmed it is an issue in the new 2.2 update. 2.1.1 works fine.

I am having the same issue, and it indicates that there ARE non-InnoDB tables to be optimized. I do not wish to override and optimize InnoDB tables, but would like to optimize all others. Why can I not tick the box to optimize those??

How is this fixed? Adding that code to wp-config does not work for me. Just need to remove the one snippet I activated…
