I have been having this issue and finding a lot of people who use TML plugin. But I don’t use it and have this problem too. I am working with about 20 membership sites that use Wishlist and discovered this issue.

Just for the sake of being helpful I will post my solution to this issue.

I’m looking at themes here on WP Repo site. I’m just trying to see what this DMS theme looks like. I haven’t downloaded it. Not using it. Just trying to see it here to see if I would like it.

Has nothing to do with activating it. All the other themes here in the Repo let me view them before downloading.

You were spot on Evan, thank you so much! I assumed that the files I uploaded were fine. I had to login to the hosting account and upload via the cPanel/File Manager.

The error is gone. Thanks again!

I downloaded a new copy of WordPress v.3.8.1 and tried again. No good. I cannot upload that file to the hosting account.

Interesting…

I re-uploaded the entire wp-admin directory.
I inspected via ftp and found wp-admin/includes/ajax-actions.php
is indeed present.

However, when I attempted to open that file I got an error and the server says that file is not present.

I can open the file on my desktop but when I replace it on the remote server it will not open. I cannot get info on it and change the read write either.

The theme that is used is a child theme that calls to Justin Tadlock’s theme named, Hybrid.

I added Twenty Fourteen and activated it. I added a text widget to the Primary sidebar and the site immediately threw that same error for me.

What now?

I’m hoping to hear that this plugin is fixed. Posting so I hope to be notified.

If I can add a slider to posts or pages anywhere on my site, how do I add images to the actual slider? I see no instructions for available shortcode parameters or to create group of images.

Or does this slider only pull from images featured in posts?

My site looks fine now but not sure how I got the edits to show up. I just seemed to take time. I will admit I pushed all possible buttons whenever available. “Empty all caches”, “empty only the disk cache”, “deploy” anything available depending on the state of the site.

I wish there were a tutorial on this aspect of working with W3TC after it is installed, configured and running.

FWIW, I see two columns on your site. So its stuck in your cache and not your visitors. Although its little help when you are trying to edit. Good luck.

I subsequently found a post on blog that said to change permissions on the .htaccess file in the min folder from 604 to 644 but that didn’t work. I also turned off the minification of js and css with no luck.

But I do see that many of my W3TC updated files/folders have permissions: 604/705. Should they be 644/755?
